It's Friday morning, I've got my coffee, sunshine pouring in - as it has all week, so feel good - and I thought I'd write one of my favourite posts. Here's a little list of 10 things that have made me happy this week.
1. As I already mentioned - the sun has been shining all week. I've had an edit heavy week, which means a lot of work from home days. Sunlight beaming into our home is one of the best simple pleasures in life.
2. My best friend Abi turned up unannounced with coffee and homemade vegan Snickers on Wednesday. She ended up staying the whole evening. What a treat.
3. We've just had our bathroom redone and I am IN LOVE. Is it weird to want to work from your bathroom?
4. 70's style. Give all the floaty sleeves, flares and chunky platform boots.
5. Good Winter TV - Deadwater Fell, The Stranger, Cold Feet, Sex Education - there's a lot to watch at the moment.
6. Roasted Veggie & Lentil Jumble I had in my Hello Fresh box this week. It was one of the nicest meals I've had in a long time. Tasty, healthy and a good one for when Henry is out and I want something filling and nutritious.
7. Buying a new little house plant to fill one of my favourite pots that's been waiting for a housemate for a while. I'm so eager to get back out in the garden when Spring rolls back around so for now, new houseplants to look after can fill that void.
8. An app that's a newbie in my life, it's called 'Habit'. You can track if you're keeping up with habits you're trying to make stick - it's colourful, simple and visually pleasing - I'm tracking reading, drinking more water and waking up before 8am.
9. Speaking of reading - I'm on book 3 of the year and I'm loving getting lost in another world. It's a really nice break from screen-time which is at a big high right now.
10. Still feeling those new year productivity vibes. I usually find January to be a pretty positive month for me - albeit a bloody long one - and February I start to tick back to my usual headspace. This year that 'lets push forward' feeling seems to be sticking around and you won't see me complaining!
So there you go, 10 little things that made me happy this week. What's put a smile on your face?

Things have been a little sparse on here recently, but I have a very good reason! I hoping to do a big ol' life update video soon which will explain what I've been up to. I have been regularly uploading on my YouTube channel though (have you seen my recent videos?)But I'm getting back on top of things with my favourite blog post that helps me focus on the little pleasures in life!
(a few snaps from a recent beaut Saturday in Brighton)
1. International Women's Day. Celebrating the leading ladies who have taught me how to be a strong, independent and powerful woman is the absolute best. Last year I wrote this blog post about the women in my life.
2. Spring/Summer wardrobe additions!
3. A 'sing your heart out to Paramore' moment in the car with Em this weekend. The BEST!
4. Salted Caramel and Chocolate Hot Cross Buns from M&S. There are no words.
5. Sewing lessons with Granny. I couldn't even take up a simple hem (I can now!) so Granny is taking the time to teach me the skills our Grandparents and Parents learnt at school. I can't ask my Mum to fix my clothes for the rest of my life, so time to get learning.
6. Burning my Wild Mint and White Tea candle at my desk.
7. Seeing I, Tonya at the cinema - great film and crazy true story. Margot Robbie is outstanding as always.
8. The smell of Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia mixed with Peony and Blush suede, oh my. It's fresh, summery and slightly sweet - think I might make a purchase for my Spring/Summer scent.
9. Statement boots and statement earrings - my go-to to make an outfit more exciting!
10. Those moments where you realise how incredible and inspiring the people in your life are. I've had this feeling a lot recently, it leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy inside which just confirms the importance of these friendships and relationships. I might write a longer post on this, but for now, basically they're all the best babes I could ever ask for.
What's made you happy this week?
One of my favourite posts to write, my little positivity log that makes me take a minute to reflect on the moments, big or little, that made my week a little sweeter.
1. Working hard for something I'd really like to achieve, but also realising the hard work won't be wasted if it's doesn't work out.
2. Daffodils in the shops and little snow drops starting to pop up in patches of woodland. Very early, but hopeful signs of Spring.
3. A chilled weekend after endless weekends of celebrations since November. Called for sleepy mornings, relaxed evenings and comfy clothes.
4. Turning to the last page of my first book of the year.
5. Friends on Netflix. Need I say more?
6. Learning so much on a Jessops photography course on Friday. I left feeling very inspired and excited to see what I could create with my new knowledge. I also love that classes like this bring together the most random group of people, and apart from having photography in common, you end up finding so many things to chat about. We're not as different as we all think!
7. Reaching out to someone I'd love to work with on the off chance they'll agree and getting a YES back!
8. Bubble baths. I could count the amount of baths I've had in the past 5 years on one hand, but this year I realised just how relaxing they are and plan to make time for one each week.
9. A super fun shoot day with Ems for her portfolio. Arctic conditions, sassy snaps and some serious cry laughing.
10. Still feeling the 'new year' positivity vibes.
What's made you happy recently?
I've been a bit distant from the blog recently. I haven't wanted to, but something's just not felt right about my content, it's not been as creative and exciting as I want it to be. This week I'm finding the time to sit down, to put pen to paper, re-thinking what now feels a bit stale and how I can re-invent it in more exciting ways, for both myself and readers. Watch this space...
But to kick of what's going to be a fun and full-on week, I thought I'd pop up one of my favourite posts looking over what's made me happy over the past week or so. Positive vibes for a Monday!
1. Crisp and sunny Sunday wandering around Central London with my love.
2. Quality time with my littlest brother, Ethan, on Saturday. Still young enough to want a cuddle from his big sister - I'm savouring every little moment.
3. Frost creeping in on chilly mornings.
4. Early evenings as an excuse to light every candle and switch on all the fairy lights.
5. Christmas Adverts & Christmas Cups. I generally try not to get too Christmassy until after my birthday at the end of the month, but as it is the best time of year I tend to get very over excited about the little things!
6. Making festive December plans (We're spending a long weekend in Bath, would love any recommendations!)
7. A trip to the Country Living Christmas Fair with my Mumma - picked up some lovely pieces from the amazing range of traders and had a perfect day with Mum!
8. STRANGER THINGS 2. That is all.
9. Temperatures cold enough to wear coats and scarves. All about layers!
10. Nails Inc. Kensington High Street - always an Autumn Winter favourite.
What's made you happy this week?
A rainy, yet very productive Monday.
Today felt like the perfect time to get back into the swing of things on my blog. It's been more of a struggle than I'd probably like to admit to keep up a schedule with my blog and YouTube channel recently. Work life blew up a bit throughout the Summer and with that and spending time with friends and family, everything slipped a little bit. With September giving everyone that 'back to school' feeling (do you ever really shake that?) it's the perfect time to get my routine back.

I'm kicking off September with one of my favourite blog posts, filling you in on 10 things that have made me happy recently. It always feels like these posts are a little like a life update, but with appreciation for the smaller things in life too.
1. I've just got home from a wonderful week in Polzeath, Cornwall with my boyfriend and family. We had surf lessons everyday with the most incredible team of surfing instructors and had such a happy week. A seaside guide to Polzeath will be up on Friday so keep an eye out.
2. The last few days of late summer, leading in to beautiful Autumn.
3. A beautiful Himalayan Salt Lamp I picked up last month.
4. Celebrating my Grandpa's 90th Birthday and Granny and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary yesterday. Without a doubt the luckiest family in the world to have these two heroes leading the way.
5. One Second Every Day app. After seeing Zoella's video I really wanted to give it a go myself. I've managed to piece together clips from before I bought the app from vlogs and have done it consistently since then. Lots of happy memories!
6. Autumn/Winter TV is back. Doctor Foster, Great British Bake Off, Cold Feet, Strictly... just so much cosy night in viewing!
7. Collecting up the fresh plums, tomatoes and strawberries in the garden whilst house-sitting for Dad last week. Like finding hidden treasure!
8. Henry's curly beach hair. MY HEART.
9. The thought of the next few month, my absolute favourite months of the year!
10. Planning and pinning Autumn style ideas on Pinterest. All the chunky knits, mini skirts and boots.
What's made you happy recently?
After a little bit of blog neglect (saaaaad times) I thought I'd try and get things back on track again. Kicking of with one of my favourite posts to write, 10 things that made me happy this week. It's a chance to look back on the little moments that have made me smile recently, I find it really helps my headspace when I'm stressed - a small reminder that it's definitely not all that bad. This post was also one of my Aunties favourites, she used to tell me that when I ended the post with 'what made you happy this week?' it really made her think about the things that made her smile and she loved that. She'll forever be the brightest star in the sky, shining even brighter yesterday with it being her birthday - so this post is for her.
1. A handful of moments from care home performances last week. Singing 'Please Mr Postman' to a gentleman who used to be a postman - He was beaming! A grandson watching his grandma dance and sing non-stop for 45minutes, she was loving it, he even got up to join her. A 90 year old man asking me to marry him. Too cute. (I said Yes. Obvs.)
2. Cocktails and cry-laughing with Emma on Saturday night.
3. Dancing to Magic FM in the kitchen with mum on Saturday afternoon. She was baking, I was getting ready to go out and they were playing #1's from the 90's.
4. A recent trip to Dorset with my dad and little brother to visit family. Collecting sea glass on Charmouth Beach, eating ice creams and visiting the crystal shop brought back all the memories of happy seaside holidays.
5. I received my first payment from YouTube. It's not huge, it won't be buying me a house, car or holiday and to most people won't seem like much, but to me it's kind of a big deal. I don't blog or make videos for money (if I did I'd of quit a looooong time ago) so this is purely a bonus, to earn a bit of money doing something I absolutely love. When you pour your heart and soul into something, it's very rewarding.
6. Doing 'adulting' so well last Tuesday morning. Insurance quotes sorted, student finance forms, postal vote applications, prescriptions picked up. Thing I'd been putting off for a long time so I felt so happy to get them all done!
7. Holiday shopping with Charlie. One month to goooo!
8. Bluebells. I love seeing the blur of purple as I drive through the countryside.
9. Despacito - a new song J Biebs features on. It's bloody amazing and gives me all the holiday salsa vibes.
10. Blake Lively's look for the Met Ball. Or just Blake Lively's look in general. Or Just Blake Lively.
What's made you happy recently? :)
*There WILL be a post coming on Friday, no more slacking from me!
It's nearly the weekend, woop! Thought I'd take a moment to reflect on what's made me happy recently as I haven't done one of these posts in a little while and they're always one of my favourites.
1. Spring weather. A change in the clocks, the evenings are getting lighter and it's like an exciting trail heading towards summer!
2. Learning how to use photoshop. I had to make a moodboard for work, I just took the plunge and tried to teach myself how to work photoshop to make it. It took hours, but I'm so happy with the results.
3. I went to Secret Cinema: Moulin Rouge on Wednesday as my brother & I got tickets for my mum for mothers day and OH MY, Secret Cinema is the most crazy, insane and wonderful experience. You immerse yourself in an entirely different world for an evening and it is magic. We were singing, dancing, acting, booing, clapping, cheering, laughing in both the hours before the film starts and during the film. Amazing.
4. At said Secret Cinema, I had Raclette for the first time. Seeeriously melted cheese on top of crushed potatoes with gherkins and salad. It's a cheese (and gherkin) lovers dream. Literally on a Raclette hunt in London now. I need to have it again!
5. John Mayer's Where The Light Is: Live at the Nokia Theatre album getting me through a sleepy Monday morning.
6. My plan today is to see my best friend - get brunch, catch up, have fun and then we're meeting all our favourite babes for a curry tonight. Perfect Friday!
7. Big Little Lies on Sky Atlantic. Watch it.
8. Baggy sweaters tucked into Mom jeans. I literally look like my mum in the 80's/90's and I BLOODY LOVE IT.
9. Charlie snapchatting me to tell me she's bought an inflatable watermelon rubber ring for our holiday in June. The girl understands my love for watermelon. That's a true best friend.
10. Jotting down a few plans for Summer. I've started making a list of the places I'd quite like to go to that aren't too far from where I live. It's nice to just start thinking of Summer plans.
What's made you happy this week? :)
Psssst. New outfit posts coming next week...

Psssst. New outfit posts coming next week...
I'm going though the really strange, weird post university stage where reality kicks in hard and job hunting, earning money and getting on the career ladder looms. It's scary and difficult, yet exciting and inspiring at times too. I've struggled with it and I am still struggling with it, I'll share my experiences once I've got myself more on track because right now the world is my oyster but I have no idea where to start! So to counter balance the struggles, I thought I'd jot down a little list of things that have made me happy recently.
1. Last Sunday. It was spent wrapped up in the winter sunshine with Henry. We wandered around Spitalfields, pulled silly faces in photobooths, scoffed coffee and doughnuts (nutella for me, icing for Hen) and watched the sunset on London Bridge. PERFECT day.
2. Daffodils. They're inexpensive, so they're the perfect way to brighten up a room without breaking the bank. Bright, fresh and a sign that Spring is coming.
3. Winter sunsets. Completely blinding when driving... but insanely beautiful.
4. The roast I demolished this Sunday afternoon at the Railway Tavern in Tulse Hill... literally the most incredible roast I've ever had.
5. Women's March. Never has the saying 'You Go Girl' been so relevant. Empowering to say the least.
6. Saturday nights house party. Drinks and dancing with the best people.
7. Crystals. I used to collect them when I was younger, every holiday to the coast I'd find a shop I could pick up a few shiny stones, bright crystals and pretty fossils. I found them the other day and have started to scatter them around my room, they are just beautiful and I want them to be on every surface (a bit much? probably ha!).
8. Reading before bed. Really trying to help my brain switch off a little more.
9. Catching up on some Michalak vlogs. I need to make time to watch them more often, they're some of my favourites and I feel so inspired after just a few minutes. Plus, Stef is hilarious, Hannah is lovely and Grayson is very cute!
10. Seeing a friend and her gorgeous newborn girl last week. So much happiness and love.

What's made you happy recently?
October has been a BUSY one. I've finished my internship at The Blogger Programme, I was struck with a serious cold half way through the month and my weekends have been jam packed of fun times with friends. I thought I'd just write down a few things that have made me happy recently!

1. Happy Halloween! I loved getting all dressed up and heading to a big halloween party with my best friends on Saturday. So much fun, you can see my outfit here on my instagram!
2. The big crisp, bright red apples we got to devour on a dog walk through some orchards last week. They were delicious.
3. Autumn Colours - seriously HOW are trees SO beautiful?!
4. Hungry Hands Zoella Beauty Hand Cream. Smells good enough to eat.
5. Babysitting my little brother on Friday night. We had some lovely, long overdue brother sister time. He's growing up so fast so I cherish the moments he still wants to have a cuddle (although he tells me that will never stop, I'm not sure future 15 year old Ethan will agree!) How he is 9 on Wednesday, I'll never know!
6. My new camel coat from New Look. I feel all kinds of swishy and sophisticated in it. Style post & lookbook coming >>very<< soon.
7. Making plans for bonfire night. Looks like mine will consist of family, friends, fireworks and food!
8. Lighting all the autumn candles and turning on the fairy lights on dark afternoons.
9. Having a huge wardrobe clear out. I didn't have much of a choice as my wardrobe rail collapsed and my clothes have spent a little while in a huge heap, but it feels good to have sorted through, put the summer clothes away, make it neat and tidy and fill up a charity bag.
10. Henry. He's makes me smile everyday and has been such a babe helping me shoot outfits and film recently.
What's made you happy recently?
♥
The last two weeks have been 'take it easy' weeks. Mum was recovering from her operation and I was looking after her so most days were spent running errands, keeping on top of housework and watching cheesy TV and countless episodes of Friends with Mum on the sofa. Here's a couple of things that have put a smile on my face this week...
1. I'll be starting my very first internship at The Blogger Programme on Monday. Exciting times.
2. Homemade plum jam. I'm putting it on everything. Everything.
3. Seeing a flash of orange on the trees, bring on the crunchy leaves.
4. Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and reading before bed. Definitely helping my sleeping pattern.
5. Two TV shows have had me hooked recently. Our Girl and Cold Feet. They are both BRILL.
6. Date night this evening with Henry. Now we don't live in Brighton, we're 45minutes away from each other and working all week. Any time now spent together truly is quality time.
7. Seeing my best friend in a production of RENT on Saturday. She absolutely smashed it, she stole the show and it blew me away. Seeing as dancing, singing and acting was the reason we met in the first place all those years ago, it was so nice to see her doing it again!
8. Reaching 1000 Subscribers on my YouTube channel. Little mini milestones that I'm slowly ticking off one by one. It may be small in the grand scheme of things, but you have to start somewhere right?
9. A slight Autumn Chill in the air, Looking forward to all the crisp/chilly but sunny days...
10. Autumn content. With this being my favourite time of year, I'm so excited to shoot lookbooks, outfit posts and everything I possibly can that's Autumn related. I'm a little apprehensive as to what it will be like when I'm working full time for the next month, but I'll make it work, I'm sure.
What's made you happy this week?
What's made you happy this week?
Recently I feel like I've been rushed off my feet, but also like I haven't really done much. How that works I'm not entirely sure, but either way it's made me decided that enough is enough and that it's time to start the scary job hunt, for real. So I'm taking step every day towards that, but definitely still finding time to enjoy myself, I've got a really fun week ahead!
(Taken whilst Berry Picking at Flower Farm. Full post coming Friday)
1. I GOT A FIRST! I am absolutely over the moon that I have been awarded a 1st Class Honours in my degree. Hard work (some breakdowns and some partying) really does pay off.
2. All of the 90's vibes in my new Mom jeans. I've worn them non-stop recently as they've been perfect for the 'in between' weather we've been having recently. I feel like I've just stepped out of series 1 of Friends and I love it.
3. Rainy August evenings spent on a date night at the cinema with my love.
4. Summer fruit. All the cherries and strawberries please!
5. Summer Party Plans. Henry & I are having our annual summer BBQ this weekend. I'm pinning all the recipes, drinks and decoration ideas.
6. The beautiful bright pink lilies Henry got me to say well done on my degree! (Can someone tell me the mens equivalent of flowers? I need to congratulate him on his incredible mark too!)
7. Feeling swishy in my new H&M maxi dress.
8. Crisp, line-dried white bed sheets.
9. Seeing bright red strawberries on the hanging plant I bought my dad for father's day. They are the sweetest strawberries I've ever had.
10. Flicking through Country Living magazine. It's definitely a new favourite read.
What's made you happy recently? :)
After feeling in a bit of a slump after my operation, I though I'd write one of my favourite posts to put a smile on my face!
1. Get Well Soon flowers from my dad brightening up the room perfectly.
2. Spending time with my cat Mickey. He's such a calm, beautiful little one that brings my family so much joy.
3. The smell of bacon sandwiches on Sunday morning.
4. The bright orange yolks in the eggs from our Chickens.
5. I've got a sleepover planned with my bestest gal next week and I can not wait.
6. Sunshine! Bring on Spring!
7. Galaxy Golden Eggs. YUM.
8. The video of a 106 year old lady dancing with Obama & his wife, Michelle. My heart wanted to burst!
9. Mums snuggly, sky blue knitted Topshop jumper. I think I need to purchase my own or it'll be frequently missing from her wardrobe...
10. Pic'm'mix at the cost of penny sweets from the local village shop.
What's made you happy this week? :)
Making the most of my last week at home...
A slightly less fancy photo for this post... but we're better than a photo of a bunch of daffodils anyway... right? ;)
1. Celebrating Grandma's 90th birthday with her. She's an absolute wonder woman!
2. Making drunk human pyramids with friends in their quest to make it on to my blog! Lots of wine, lots of laughs and a very fun night.
3. Thinking about summer term in Brighton. The prospect of beach days makes me feel all warm inside. Salty hair and sun-kissed skin please!
4. Snacking on dried mango. Mmmm.
5. I went to watch Celebrity Juice being filmed with Henry. Without a doubt one of the funniest things I've ever watched and I'm now completely in love with Steve-O!
6. Reminiscing with my best friend over tea and cake on a sunny tuesday afternoon.
7. I've been taking care of my skin recently. My skin is loving soaking up all the moisture I've been giving it!
8. Summer Plans.
9. Buying a few bunches of daffodils from a local garden centre. Brightening up the kitchen beautifully!
10. Looking at ideas for my next hair appointment, exciting!
What has made you happy this week?
There has been lots of things to smile about this week! I absolutely love taking the time to think back on the week and remember that little things that made me happy.
1. Spring has Sprung! Nothing like a spot of sunshine to put a smile on my face.
2. Cracking my easter egg. It's satisfying to know that once you've made that big step, you can break bits off every few minutes now and then.
3. Planning the next week in my diary. It's going to be ridiculously busy, but a lot of fun!
4. Magnolia Trees against the backdrop of blue sky. Perfect.
5. I got a job! And not just any job, a job that relates to my degree and is a job I'd kill to get post university, let alone whilst I'm still there. It's singing and performing every week at weddings and parties, what more could I want? I love performing at weddings, to add something to that couples very special day is just the loveliest thing. It's daunting and slightly overwhelming but very exciting.
6. Babysitting my little brother last night. I was watching him potter about the house and just couldn't believe how grown up (yet still unbelievably cute) he was!
7. Sprinkle Of Glitter, Louise, posting her 'Mini Happies' on Facebook. It's a similar idea to this post, to look at the little things that made you smile.
8. Brighton in the sunshine! Going back there for two days after a few weeks at home makes you really appreciate what an incredible place it is.
9. AprilDeForce. I really enjoy Fleur's daily vlogs, so I'm really pleased she is vlogging this month!
10. Starting my sunday with breakfast in bed and blue sky outside.
What made you happy this week? Look for the little things! :)
This week has been a stressful one. It's been absolutely non-stop! Lectures, job interviews, Beauty Chat LIVE, gigs, rehearsals, family visits, essays, open mic nights, all sorts. It finished off with a few days at home, which has been absolutely lovely. But I was accompanied by a cold that had been ready to pounce all week, slowly getting worse as the it went on. So, I'm currently on the sofa, watching friends, sipping tea, stocked up on cold & flu tablets and wrapped up in a blanket. This week I feel I need to look back and find the good things, the things that made me smile. It's left me feeling a little deflated and unmotivated!
1. The bloom of purple and red tulips that have sat on my desk, looking beautiful, all week. A valentines day gift from my love.
2. Beauty Chat LIVE. Anna and Lily's night at Space NK was fantastic. I wrote a blog post about it, you can read that here.
3. Pancakes! Need I say more?
4. Cat cuddles. It's good to back with my little cat, Mickey, to have a snuggle on the sofa. Also to meet Henry's sister new little kitty, Jett. He is absolutely teeny!
5. Not getting on an Open Mic night on Wednesday. The list seemed to fill up within seconds and by the time I went to sign up it was full. I was sad as my dad had come to see me, but we decided to all bundle into Henry's flat and chat, sing, laugh and play for the rest of the evening. Turned out to be a great night.
6. The Great British Comic Relief Bake Off is gracing our TV screens again. Plus, Zoella was on it! Go #TeamInternet!
7. Fleur De Force's Feb-Vlogs. I've really been enjoying her videos recently and can't get enough, so daily vlogs are perfect! I need to get my hands on her book, it looks fantastic.
8. Total Divas. I'm obsessed with this show at the moment. Erm, when can I become a Bella Twin?
9. The sun making an appearance this week. It's made me so excited for Spring.
10. I'm going on holiday! The bookings for a holiday in September have started and I'm already planning outfits in my head... too early?
What's made you happy this week?
xxxx
A Snoozy Sunday Snap
1. Planning lots of fashion posts. Lots of outfits looks are being planned, so keep your eyes peeled for those popping up soon...
2. New Years Eve. I pretty much went to an OAP disco with my boyfriend & friends. I'm talking disco lights, tinsel, finger buffet, the works... but we had the best night and partied until the early hours of 2015!
3. Being reunited with my cousins. I hadn't seen them in nearly two years, so it was more than lovely to catch up.
4. Frosty mornings and winter sunsets. So much beauty in a season that often gets overlooked for that.
5. Going 'background' shopping with mum. We maaay have raided some wallpaper samples for photography for my blog... ssshhh.
6. Pretty Little Liars in on UK Netflix. With new episodes every Thursday. They know how to please a girl...
7. BBC's Esio Trot. A gorgeous version of Roald Dahl's book, 'Esio Trot'. Made you laugh, smile and it tugged at your heartstrings a little.
8. Gone Girl. Definitely the best film of 2014 for me. Watch it if you haven't already, it's craaacking.
9. Purchasing a ticket for the Bloggers London Fashion Week 'Gossip Girl' Themed Dinner Party. I seriously can't wait to channel my inner Serena...
10. Friends & Family time. So much time spent with my friends and family over Christmas & New Year and I have cherished every moment of it.
What has made you happy this week?
xx
It has been a craaaazy busy week, hoping things will settle down a little this week! I need my sleep!
(Read #5 for this one! Melts my heart just a little!)
1. One year with Henry. He makes me so happy, I'm a very lucky girl.
2. Halloween! So much fun with friends all weekend. Sweet treats, blood stained costumes and lots of laughs.
3. My little brother turning 7. He's still a little bubba in my eyes... and forever will be!
4. Triple Chocolate Apples. so good.
5. Receiving a beautiful bouquet of red roses from my Mr, as a pre-anniversary/'thanks for tidying the flat' gift. The best of surprises!
6. Pinning photos, postcards, pictures and pretty pieces above my desk space. It's really starting to take shape. Will blog about it soon.
7. Hello November! It's birthday month and autumn is in full swing, I love it.
8. Getting up on stage in my lecture the other day, despite some sudden nerves and negativity and giving my all on a song. Turned out to be so pleased with my performance. Some people really know what to do/say to give you that boost :)
9. Sunset's at the beach. I'll never get over it.
10. My giant oversized scarf from Accessorize. I'm obsessed with it, perfect for wrapping up in when the chill gets to you! (Although, I am aware I look like the crazy lady who brought a blanket out with her...)
What made you happy this week?

I've been pretty happy this week*
*I know it's a wednesday... but go with it!
1. Moving out, Moving in! My flat this year turned out not to be the best of places, for various reasons. I ended up staying with Henry for the majority of my first year and I was so lucky to have him there for me. On Monday, I moved out of that house and into my new one. I'm living very close to Hen and all my friends and I
2. My new All Saints Leather Jacket. I freaaaking love it, although the price tag? not so much, but it's definitely an investment. Hasn't left my body since it was purchased!
3. I FOUND A ZAP LOLLY. It's only taken all summer.
4. Pots & Co. Salted Caramel Chocolate Pot. Delicious! And the cute ramekins you get with them are so cute!
5. Home Shopping. I could do it all day everyday. I'm definitely my mothers daughter, seeing as she works in interior design. I feel a home haul coming on...
6. Pretty Little Liars. Although before bed time it's pretty creepy!
7. Great British Bake Off. For obvious reasons... it's BRILL.
8. The baby shower I went to on Saturday. Fun and games with lovely people!
9. Dads's bolognese sauce on a roasted butternut squash, topped with shavings of parmesan. Perfect for gluten free and also my favourite meal... EVER.
10. Nights, be it parties, dinner parties or just being at the pub with the best people. I really appreciate my friends and family right now.
What's made you happy this week?

a list of 10 little things that made me happy this week (technically this hasn't all been in a week.. but it still makes me happy so go with it!)
1. Having a cute little picnic in the park with Henry. Quality time, with food, in the sunshine, what could be better?!
2. Summer, Summer, Summer! My summer 'to do' list is bursting with ideas.
3. Fun, lazy and drunken bbq's. Of course the most recent one ended with us chatting and even dancing into the early hours...
4. Brixton Village. I totally fell in love the place when I visited for dinner with my mum & bro the other night. I will definitely be returning for some shopping and snacking.
5. That storm. Insane thunder and lightning clashing and rumbling at 2.30am? exciting!
6. Healthy Food! Greek yoghurt, honey & strawberries for breakfast is a favourite along with toasted pitta bread and hummus for lunch or a snack. Also I just bought a blender... smoothie anyone?
7. Testing the new hammock in Henry's garden with Hen and Emma on a beautiful summers evening.
8. Beer Festival. Blog post to follow on this, a day full of fun!
9. Fresh garden peas! Straight from the pods in Dad's garden. Gorgeous! & Strawberries. I seriously don't know what I'm going to do when they're are out of season. Withdrawal...
10. Rediscovering all those beautiful Summer dresses that had been crammed up in a draw all winter.

Hello!
Still feeling a little un-inspired, so blog posts are coming in a little slow but I'm hoping I should be back to normal soon!
(I do not own this photo. Found on clementinesandtulips.tumblr.com)
1. Modern Family. I'm totally hooked. It's hilarious and easy to watch when you're just chilling out.
2. Comin' Home - City and Colour. Definitely my favourite song at the moment, the lyrics are amazing, it's such a beautiful song.
3. Being back in Brighton. Sad to leave home, but not sad to be back!
4. Recording a new cover, it had been a very long time. check that out here! & A March Haul video which you can see here!
5. The break between my tuesday lectures. I normally slip off to Starbucks on my own and get work done, catch up on emails and write a few blog posts. After my 9am start (as much as I detest it...) I always feel super productive!
6. I decided to make the most of walking home in the sunshine today and took a detour via a beautiful square full of flowers, then to the beach. I took a few photos so will be uploading them. It was super sunny and Brighton just looked so beautiful!
7. Film Nights! Friday night and Saturday night were spent with my boyfriend and a few best friends watching film after film! A lot of fun with so many funny moments!
8. Catching up with my friend Dan over lunch at Wagamama's. He's a funny one, so it's always a laugh when I see him.
9. Boost Mango Passion Smoothie. Yum.
10. Treating Henry to the new game he wanted. Left it on his bed with a bar of chocolate, that he loves, as a surprise = a vey happy henry :)
Also, according to my Mumma, my Auntie Nana (Said 'Narna'... Her name is Diana, it's a nickname... don't ask!) loves reading my blog, so Hey Nana, Lots of Love!
What has made you smile this week?
