It has been a craaaazy busy week, hoping things will settle down a little this week! I need my sleep!

(Read #5 for this one! Melts my heart just a little!)

1.  One year with Henry. He makes me so happy, I'm a very lucky girl.

2. Halloween! So much fun with friends all weekend. Sweet treats, blood stained costumes and lots of laughs.

3. My little brother turning 7. He's still a little bubba in my eyes... and forever will be!

4. Triple Chocolate Apples. so good.

5. Receiving a beautiful bouquet of red roses from my Mr, as a pre-anniversary/'thanks for tidying the flat' gift. The best of surprises!

6. Pinning photos, postcards, pictures and pretty pieces above my desk space. It's really starting to take shape. Will blog about it soon.

7. Hello November! It's birthday month and autumn is in full swing, I love it.

8. Getting up on stage in my lecture the other day, despite some sudden nerves and negativity and giving my all on a song. Turned out to be so pleased with my performance. Some people really know what to do/say to give you that boost :)

9. Sunset's at the beach. I'll never get over it.

10. My giant oversized scarf from Accessorize. I'm obsessed with it, perfect for wrapping up in when the chill gets to you! (Although, I am aware I look like the crazy lady who brought a blanket out with her...)

What made you happy this week?

We're going all out this Halloween! Myself and my friends are all super excited so have lots of plans!

Friday night, we're dressing up, getting drunk and heading out.

Obviously I needed some spooky beverages to get me through the evening.

'Pina Ghoulada' (geddit?!) being my drink of choice!

50ml Pineapple Juice
1 tablespoon Coconut Cream (Surprising hard to find... will see if coconut milk works!)
50ml Rum (I couldn't find the one I wanted in time to take these photos... so just pretend it's there!)
1 tablespoon Sugar
Ice
Pineapple Slice (Decoration - Optional)

Shake it all up and you're ready to go!

I've also made Jelly Shots for everyone to enjoy.

These are simple, just jelly, vodka and water.

I'll leave you to work out the measurements of each thing... it took Fran & I a while..

On the saturday night to soothe our poor hungover heads, we're having a big scary movie night!

Films, friends, takeaways and lots of snacks. Can't really ask for much more!

I spotted some wonderful looking 'Triple Halloween Chocolate Apples' on Cider With Rosie and I am so excited to give them a go!

I'll also be making these funky 'Spooky Boo Brownies' that I spotted on the Betty Crocker website!

I'm being naughty and using a box mix... but I'm a student, so it's allowed.

Whip up a batch of brownies, place the marshmallows on top! I'm melting some white chocolate over the top too!

Sweetie Skewers to stick in one of the pumpkins for great decoration and food!

We bought a few decorations for the flat too. We thought we may as well go all out and make the most of this spooky weekend!

Pumpkins are carved and ready to be displayed in all their glory with tea-lights in!

Check out my spooky pumpkin carving video below!

What are you plans? Whatever they are, have a good Halloween!
I'm still so excited for Halloween so I thought I'd put another outfit post together!

See my first one here!

I love The Addams Family films, so I love this one as an option. Another really simple one and won't take to much time or effort!

Minnie Mouse is one of my favourite characters, but she's not exactly scary! You may hate the idea, but 'No More Minnie' is the perfect twist for Halloween. Lots of fake blood needed for this one, create your perfect minnie look... then slaughter it! Make sure you don't use clothes you don't want to ruin though, fake blood can stain!

Another classic option, but the thrown in skeleton accessories will make this one! Go all out there on face paint too. I love this one on Nouvelle Daily, you could go half face, or full, both would look great!

I thought I'd give it a go myself, and I actually loved the outcome!

I think I'm going for a Vampire look (this one) and will hopefully get a video or blog post up of my outfit!
I'm off to carve pumpkins and hang decorations!

Autumn is quite possibly my favourite season.

This morning I woke up a felt a proper Autumn chill in the air.

Crunchy burnt orange, faded brown and rusty red leaves scattering the pavements and grass.
Hot chocolates, the works of course
Knitted scarfs, jumpers, dresses, cardigans, hats... knitted everything!
Getting all dressed up with your friends for Halloween
Hot drinks, burgers and sparklers on fireworks night
A new winter wardrobe
Candles, everywhere. Filling the room with wonderful smells
Pumpkins, Toffee Apples and Marshmallows
Carving Pumpkins
Cuddles on rainy days in
Long, cold, crisp walks
Salted caramel everything
Collecting conkers
Just simply being cosy.

What do you love about Autumn?
It's nearly halloween!

Time for those tricky questions... Who do I go as? What do I wear? Do I go for scary? Do I go for sexy? Do I go for cute?

I thought I'd put together a few outfits on 'Polyvore' of some 'classic' halloween looks in a slightly more stylised and sophisticated way.

A sexy, yet sophisticated take on a  Vampire look. The splashes of blood red will tie this look together. Tanya Burr's lipgloss in 'Vampire Kiss' is perfect for a vampy pout and the red contacts will freak people out all night long.

A round, shiny, bright orange pumpkin outfit isn't the most attractive of outfits to wear for halloween. This look will be made by your make up, freak people out with dark black eye makeup and black lips. Go bold and be brave with that, it's halloween!

An LBD, cat ears and some draw on whiskers and you're pretty much there with this look. (Take a look at Niomi Smarts fab tutorial for that!) The extras are just there to make it more exciting, but this look an be achieved with things you probably already have stored in your wardrobe and make up draws. Not scary, but very cute.

We've all seen Liz Hurely in Bedazzeled (If not, google it now... Seen it? Get what I'm on about? Good.) We don't want to paint our faces red and prance about in red tights all night so this is a great alternative. You'll feel fab in the red dress and heels but still have the 'devil' touches. Like the cat outfit, it's quite a simple one, but this is the sexier option!

I get it if you don't want to be wearing a glittery, itch black dress from the fancy dress shop. This little number is a stylish solution. Wearing a deep purple, with black accessories throughout adds a nice touch of colour to the outfit and makes it a bit more fancy than just black.

So you won't look terrifying in any of these outfits, but you will feel fab and still look cool whilst sticking to the 'rules' of halloween, as it were.

Head on over to my Polyvore here
