Rounding up those faves again for a monthly favourites video - better late than never, ey?

January -like all months- had its good and bad moments. The good being lots of fun times with friends celebrating FOUR(!) birthdays and that wonderful feeling of a fresh new year, but bad in a very sad family loss and difficulty finding my feet on the job hunt.

Enjoy! xxx

A round up of the thing I loved throughout last year. I'm talking beauty, skincare, style, tv, music and much more!

There's so many reason as to why I love Autumn...
Apologies for the leaf overload, but leaving the city for a bit and heading back home was breathtaking. Autumn holds so much beauty.

Crunchy leaves lining the pavements.
Carving Pumpkins, the smell reminds me of my childhood, all the nostalgia.
Salted Caramel Everything.
Fresh, crisp, chilly days with the sun shining.
Gnawing (or nearly breaking your teeth) on toffee apples.
Fireworks.
Sipping on Hot Chocolates.
Splashes of red, orange, green and yellow dotting the tops of the trees.
Pumpkin Spice Everything.
Having an excuse to light all your candles.
Chunky knitted hats & oversized scarves.
Rainy days being the perfect excuse for cosy, lazy days.
Finding conkers.
Perfect sweater/cuddle weather.
Muddy wellington boots piled by the door after a long, chilly walk.
Fun with sparklers.
Apple and blackberry crumble, with blackberries you picked on a walk, of course.
The exciting lead up to Christmas.

Do you love Autumn? Tell me why!

All photos taken on the Olympus Pen E-PL7 with a 45mm lens.

My October Favourites! I thought I'd share a few of my favourite moments from October on here...

Taking in Autumn. Living in a city, you really don't see the seasons change. The moment I go back home suddenly something is so different, sometimes the trees have no leaves, sometimes they're full of blossom, but this time it was just a sea of fiery red, orange and yellow surrounding me. I grabbed my camera and took hundreds of photos, it was so incredibly beautiful and really nice to have some time snapping in the fresh air.

Having a girls day. My lovely friend Lucy came to visit me in Brighton the other day for some much needed girl time. It was such a fun day bounding around Btown in the sunshine. We sipped coffees, devoured chocolate cake and laughed non-stop. We even had to hold hands to pretend we were a lesbian couple in a video about Tinder & STI's... (Yep, real life goals right there!)

What was your favourite moment in October?

Whilst I sit here sipping on Lemsip and resisting the temptation to cough in fear of the pressure in my head making my brain explode... I thought I'd take five and focus on some of my favourite things!
Sunny mornings♥

- An extra hour of sleep. On Saturday the clocks went back which means an extra hour of sleep and darker evenings, which excites me greatly.

- Embracing Autumn. As I was home for the weekend, I made the absolute most of being surrounded by trees, crunchy leaves, pumpkins and puddles. I threw on my wellies, grabbed my Olynpus Pen and headed straight outside to snap away. I miss seeing the Autumnal changes so much whilst I'm in Brighton. The colours were just insane, I'll have a blog post up soon full of photos.

- Coffee. I've really started loving it recently and I blame Small Batch Coffee entirely, due their super creamy coffees and pretty latte art. (Yes, I'm a sucker for it.)

- Weekly Vlogs. I thought I'd bite the bullet and film a weekly vlog and I absolutely loved doing it. Have you seen it yet?

What's made you happy this week?♥

I love a good list. Stumbling upon a list of 'things that make you happy' is one of the best things. Especially when you can just read the whole thing thinking 'ah I love that!' and 'yes! That's the best!'
I haven't written a '10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week' post in a while, but I thought I would change things up a bit and just tell you some of my favourite things. It might be from that particular week, it might be just in general, but it'll all be things that put a smile on my face.
breakfast & blogging; the best.
- Moving back to Brighton, settling into my flat. I love making a space my own, so really took the time to make my bedroom somewhere I was truly happy and comfortable in. I've moved back into the same flat I was in for 2nd year and I knew I didn't want to put everything back in the same place. I spend a lot of time in my room, with it being a student flat with no communal area apart from a teeny tiny kitchen. I'm currently sitting at my desk, my favourite Oliver Bonas candle flickering and letting off its sweet scent next to me, a bloom of pink flowers in a mason jar to my left, a photo of my man & I with a little silly love note he'd scribbled down once and I'd kept and tucked it into the white gold frame to my right and with Mumford & Sons album softly playing from my speakers. I feel very happy and calm. I have a huge blank canvas in front of me, as I plan to fill the wall above my desk with photos, quote, pictures, sayings to fill me with inspiration when I need it.

- Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Late to the bandwagon on this one, but it's like drinking a cup of Autumn. Autumn tastes pretty darn good.

- Great British Bake Off. obviously.

- When you wake up up to sunshine pouring through your window.

- Henry & I had his flat to ourselves last night. He cooked us risotto for dinner, we just had a completely chilled out evening, in pyjamas, watching (& getting very seriously hooked on) Doctor Foster. It was just really lovely to be doing nothing fancy and to have some time be just us two.

What makes you happy?

It's that time of the year when you've got your results, you've had your big night out to celebrate and now some of you will be heading off to university this September!  I'm going into my third year at uni. It's going so quickly but I'm having the most amazing time with the most wonderful people, so although it seems daunting, please don't worry about a thing!

This is obviously my way of raising a glass to you. Well done! A-levels are officially over. It's Uni Time!

Before I went to university, there was a substantial lack of videos about it on YouTube. So I thought I'd make some advice videos myself!

 Last year I covered:

Do you 'vlog'? Maybe write me some tips and advice in the comments box!
My vlogs will not be as frequent as my blog posts & I'm still working on which camera to use & quality etc. but we all have to start somewhere!
