No time like December to get back into taking the time out to write a few posts on my little old blog.
Time is like quicksand at the mo.

I thought I'd round up the things I'd like to do this Christmas, our first Christmas in our new home! It's the 4th December and unlike me, I'm not feeling particularly festive. Maybe it's because we haven't go our tree yet (4 more days!) but I'm up for doing everything to feel the christmas spirit!

Jo Malone candle

- buy our christmas tree
- make (read: drink all the) mulled wine
- dry orange slices
- plan out pretty wrapping
- finally light my Jo Malone candle
- have my annual festive day with charlie
- decorate the tree with henry
- send out christmas cards
- visit winter wonderland
- watch all the christmas films (most importantly, Love Actually, The Holiday and Home Alone)
- bake mince pies - more than once
- make christmas cocktails
- build a gingerbread house, for the first time!
- get a new christmas jumper
- make some homemade presents/decorations
- wrap presents
- have a friends christmas

What's on your festive checklist?

It's officially candle season, which means it's okay to spend every moment at home being as cosy as possible! I love to light candles on gloomy days, sip hot cups of tea and wrap up in blankets, particularly before bed, when I want to wind down peacefully with a spritz of pillow spray and a good book.
Recently the lovely people at Made By Coopers scent me a few products to try out. The products are 100% natural made with essential oils and organic ingredients so great for being a little more eco friendly!

At this time of year I tend to reach for sweet and spicy scents - all things pumpkin, cinnamon and maple. But every now and then I want something fresh. If the sun in shining outside and I'm working away at my desk indoors, I want a candle scent to pep me up. This 'Happy' candle is scented with Lime, Basil and Clementine. It is the perfect citrusy, fresh scent that gives me a little more buzz.
They also sent me a sleep spray, as someone who struggles to switch off in the evening, things like this are perfect for me. 'Sleepy Head' is scented with calming Lavender, Frankincense and Chamomile it's the ideal scent to soothe you to sleep. Just spritz around your room or lightly onto your pillows for a peaceful nights sleep.
If you're on the look out for 100% natural products, I highly recommend having a snoop around Made By Coopers website (they're got some beautiful photography and styling on there too!)

All opinions are honest and my own.
Do you ever watch Zoella's Bath & Body Works Hauls and want to weep just a lil' bit because you know none of those candles are available to you? Yeah me too.

But fear not, I have the most affordable and 'good-enough-to-eat' scented candles that are available here in the UK!

My love of Autumn meant I was determined to find some autumn scented candles, I personally feel they're the ultimate scent to make you feel cosy. There's pumpkin scents, spicy scents, sweet scents, the lot.

Home Sense // TK Maxx

Chesapeake Bay Candle - all £3.99

White Pumpkin - Sweet, slightly spicy.

Fall Foliage - Sexy man smell. Yep. It's a thing.

Cosy Cashmere - Vanilla, with a hint of spice.

Tesco Home

Home Inspiration by Yankee Candle - 99p each.

Apple Cinnamon Cider - It smells exactly true to its name, very Christmassy,

B&M Stores

Essence Candles - £2.99

My mum spotted these candles and picked them up for me. I probably wouldn't of picked 'Apple Orchard' as I wanted spicy, sweet scents not fruity, but oh. my. god. this is my favourite.

Apple Orchard - Smells nothing like an apple orchard but like maple syrup and cinnamon. mmm.

Radiant Red Maple - Sweet, sugary, maple syrup scent (but not sickly sweet) with a hint of subtle spice.

These are the ultimate Bath & Body Works Dupes looks-wise too. Make sure you leave them burning for long enough each time, so the wax melts evenly and you get the most out of the candle.
I am so over the moon I found these candles and that none of them were over £4!

The burn-time is great so far, but despite that I feel like I should panic buy some more before I run out... possibly a bit dramatic when I've got 12 candles to burn!

Do any of these satisfy your autumn candle cravings?
I thought I'd write a post to the two little beauties that are currently gracing my desk. These gorgeous Emma Bridgewater Espresso Cup Candles!

They're very cute, look lovely and smell delightful too! I love having candles lit every evening, something about the flicker of a flame just makes me feel relaxed and calm before a long sleep.

For someone who is a liiittle mug obsessed, these are perfect. They were actually given to me as a gift - which is something I think they're perfect for! Also, once they've burnt down, you could pop a tea light of small candle in there!

I've seen lots of different designs of these, so if these ones don't take your fancy have a look around. I love these 'Toast & Marmalade' ones on Amazon.

My desk space...
A place for inspiration, determination and procrastination.

I knew the moment I saw this room, that i wanted to have the perfect desk space. A bright, light and airy space, with a sea view from the window!

I wrote this post a few months ago on Desk Space Inspiration, so I thought I'd update you on what I went for in the end.

I picked up these gorgeous candle holders from Tiger for £3 each, an absolute bargain!

The wall is covered in photos of my nearest and dearest, cute decorations and postcards!

I love having flowers on my desk, brings a little bit of life into it! These white flowers were only £3 from Tesco and have lasted three weeks! The roses were from my wonderful man, for our anniversary.

I absolutely love seeing interior posts, so link any in the comments below!

(Victoria Sponge made by Henry's mum. So delicious!)

When it comes to birthdays, I absolutely love to spoil the people that mean the most to me. It's my boyfriends birthday tomorrow, so spoilt he shall be!
We've been out for a lovely meal with his family tonight and some presents have been opened (As I type he is playing guitar using his new amp)
Tomorrow, I will be cooking him breakfast, giving him his presents (wrapped very well... bows and ribbons and all that) and after a few hours of uni lectures, I'll be taking him out for a romantic meal!

Not a bad way to start a week or a rainy Monday if you ask me!

Do you like spoiling your loved ones? What does your Monday consist of?
