My wonderful Auntie, Diana, very sadly passed away earlier in May.
I called her 'Nana' (Said: 'Narna' We're not sure how that came about, just a nickname that stuck since me and my brother were little)

I've been a bit a bit distant from my blog since it happened, my Auntie loved reading my blog. In fact, my blog brought my auntie and I a lot closer, which I couldn't be more thankful for. She would always tell me how much she loved my blog posts, especially my '10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week' because it really did make her think about what had made her happy. I even mentioned her in this blog post to make her smile, and it did, I received an excited email from her only hours later!

She was such a happy and cheery person, we always laughed so much when we were together, even when times were hard, she'd laugh and still find reasons to smile.

I miss her terribly, but I know that wherever she is, she'll be in the perfect cottage she always wanted to live in and reunited with her beloved dog 'Digby'.

She was always so proud of my brother and I with our music. My brother wrote an amazing song for the funeral titled 'When I Laugh, I'll Think Of You' (I thought it was so fitting that I've stolen the name for the blog post!) I recorded a cover of 'Over The Rainbow' and I think she'd of loved them both so much.

Hello!
Still feeling a little un-inspired, so blog posts are coming in a little slow but I'm hoping I should be back to normal soon!

(I do not own this photo. Found on clementinesandtulips.tumblr.com)

1. Modern Family. I'm totally hooked. It's hilarious and easy to watch when you're just chilling out.

2. Comin' Home - City and Colour. Definitely my favourite song at the moment, the lyrics are amazing, it's such a beautiful song.

3. Being back in Brighton. Sad to leave home, but not sad to be back!

4. Recording a new cover, it had been a very long time. check that out here! & A March Haul video which you can see here!

5. The break between my tuesday lectures. I normally slip off to Starbucks on my own and get work done, catch up on emails and write a few blog posts. After my 9am start (as much as I detest it...) I always feel super productive!

6. I decided to make the most of walking home in the sunshine today and took a detour via a beautiful square full of flowers, then to the beach. I took a few photos so will be uploading them. It was super sunny and Brighton just looked so beautiful!

7. Film Nights! Friday night and Saturday night were spent with my boyfriend and a few best friends watching film after film! A lot of fun with so many funny moments!

8. Catching up with my friend Dan over lunch at Wagamama's. He's a funny one, so it's always a laugh when I see him.

9. Boost Mango Passion Smoothie. Yum.

10. Treating Henry to the new game he wanted. Left it on his bed with a bar of chocolate, that he loves, as a surprise = a vey happy henry :)

Also, according to my Mumma, my Auntie Nana (Said 'Narna'... Her name is Diana, it's a nickname... don't ask!) loves reading my blog, so Hey Nana, Lots of Love!

What has made you smile this week?

IT'S CHRIIIIIIIIISTMAS! *sings in style of Merry Christmas Everybody - Slade...obviously*

The excitement of christmas is getting far to much for me so I thought I'd share my favourite Christmas songs with you! I pretty much love EVERY single christmas song. They all make me jump around the room with festive glee...

Happy, feel-good and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Pretty sure this one is one of my dads favourites, it always makes me think of him, so Dad this ones for you!

If you don't love this song... I don't love you. That is all I have to say.

Bit of an unusual one, but I covered it with my brother a few years ago and I will always love it!

Not a traditional christmas song, as you can probably tell from the title, but it's happy and catchy as hell. 'Santa, you bitch. Didn't get a damn thing on my christmas list' haha!

Nothing better than a soppy bit of Wham!

Of course, there is Michael Buble's christmas album too, my favourites are 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' and 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

If you're enjoying the christmassy songs & the John Lewis Christmas advert, have a look at mine and my housemates cover of Somewhere Only We Know - Keane/Lily Allen to get you in the festive mood!

What are your favourite christmas songs? :)

Hello!

Who doesn't love the John Lewis Christmas Advert? It's super cute and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Me and my housemates loved the song from the advert, so recorded a cover of it.

We hope you like it. Maybe share it with your friends if you do? Christmas is all about sharing, right?
