It's Easter Weekend!

I've spent my Good Friday spring cleaning with mum, ticking off the To Do list and tying up loose ends so I can shut my laptop this evening and keep it closed until Monday!

Car cleaned; inside and out
Tyre air pressure checked
Next weeks video filmed
Easter eggs bought & ready to be hidden and hunted on Sunday!
Full english food purchased ready for a lazy morning.
Interviews answered (nothing big, just helping out friends!)

I'm so looking forward to this weekend! Henry and I are heading back to Brighton tomorrow to spend the day with our friends, James and Amy. I think the plan is shopping, good food and drinks! Easter Sunday I'll be cooking up a big breakfast for the four of us, then going home to spend the day with family. My brother and his girlfriend are coming back home and the whole families coming over. There'll be Easter egg hunts, delicious roasts and without a doubt lots of laughs. We haven't got anything planned for Easter Monday yet, so we shall see!

What have you got planned this weekend?

I spent Good Friday with my grandparents, catching up over tea and hot cross buns! Granny & I decided to do some painting together like we used too. I was nice to just get a paintbrush in my hand again which I haven't done for a few years!

I spent the day with my mum doing a spot of shopping and some movies in the evening. No photos to show for it!

Mum and I managed to unknowingly set up an Easter Egg hunt for each other, in the same room without finding our own goodies! Nothing like a game of 'hot and cold' with a cup of tea in your hand on easter morning!

I spent Easter Sunday with Henry and his family, the sun even made a glorious appearance!

A bit of colouring for a couple of 20 year olds, nothing wrong with that right?

He's just my favourite. He's a good egg :)

The table was set beautifully. Tulips are one of my favourite flowers and the bunny rabbit serviettes were just the cutest!

Feeling absolutely stuffed we enjoyed a relaxed afternoon chatting away and being entertained by the doggies!

The sun was shining again! It felt like the first day of Spring, absolutely gorgeous!

I'm obsessed with the combination of stripes and florals, it's definitely something I'm going to (try) to rock a lot this spring/summer.

It was Henry's dad's birthday on Easter Monday, so we went out for a lovely meal at The Hurstwood, in High Hurstwood. Definitely a place to go if you're near!

Gorgonzola stuffed figs, wrapped in parma ham to start, followed by the yummiest fish and chips I've had in a long time and a to die for sticky toffee pudding to finish!

Henry & I then made our way back to Brighton for the night. So a weekend full of 'happies' if you ask me!

What did you get up too this Easter?

Hello!
I have had the loveliest Easter Weekend! It's been filled with family, fun and feasts (of mainly chocolate, of course!)

On Good Friday, Henry's mum came to pick us up from Brighton and took us for lunch in a super cool new restaurant that's just opened, Verano Lounge. I had a really nice sherbet lemonade which I will definitely be having again! Also, I absolutely loved how they displayed the cakes and nibbles in the photo below!

I'm Wearing:
White Top - Primark
Mint & Gold Necklace - Primark
Tanya Burr Lipgloss in 'Chic'

My older brother, Sam and I took a trip to see our Granny and Grandpa in their new (and very cute) flat! We were so sad to see them move out of their old house, but the new flat is just lovely! It was lovely to see them so happy and settled after a rather hectic move! We even got them to take a selfie...!

We then thought it was definitely time for a family selfie and this photo will forever be one of my absolute favourites! Three generations of Furness men, Grandpa, Dad and two Sons & then Granny and I! I love that my youngest brother and my grandpa have the same facial expression going on!

Rocking some facial hair in Pizza Express with Ethan.

Returned to my dads house, full of pizza and ready to flop on the sofa. Had to take a photo of these gorgeous tulips in jars in the kitchen!

Happy Easter!
The Easter bunny made it to my house and was super generous, which was great being a chocoholic an' all!

The Easter bunny even got some posh chocolates for Mumma! My Auntie and Grandma came over so it was lovely to spend some time with them.

I went with Henry and his family to see his Uncle, Auntie and Cousins at their beautiful house. We had the yummiest roast and spent hours all chatting and laughing in the garden as it was a beautiful day. I really do love getting to know Henry's family, spending time with them and hearing all the funny family stories they have to tell, I always have such a lovely time when I'm with them.

This was our 'We're back in Brighton and we're really tired, but have had a really lovely day' photo, (obviously, cant you tell?). Spirits were high after such a lovely weekend and a cosy night in just topped it all off!

I did warn you it was a very family filled post!
What did you get up too on the Easter Bank Holiday?

I think this is my favourite post to write. It makes me focus on what makes me happy and the good things that happened this week.

(I do not own this image, Source Unknown)
1. Easter chocolate being on the shelves. It's early, yes, but who doesn't love Creme Egg season?

2. Filming my first vlog. Nerve wracking and scary, but I did it! Watch it here!

3. Fentimans Rose Lemonade. It's so refreshing!

4. Having sushi for lunch or dinner. I'd eat it for every meal if I could! Healthy and super tasty.

5. Having a night with an Indian takeaway and scary films with the boys & Bea. It was nice not being the only girl telling the boys to shut up during the films ha!

6. My new Urban Outfitters Coat. £125 reduced to £35... I couldn't say no!

7. Zoe's video for Tanya Burr to say congratulations for the Lipgloss and Nail Varnish range. It's the cutest thing and put a big smile on my face. Watch it here!

8. Painting my nails mint green and my toes bright orange... It's only February and I'm already anticipating spring/summer!

9. Spending some time with my little brother last weekend. He made 'charts' all on his own and stuck them on the wall... 'Henree' was in his good books, lots of ticks! 'Go' (said 'Jor'... a cute attempt at my name) had a lot of crosses... what have I done?!

10. Sundays. I don't like the looming Monday, but the laziness of sundays is my favourite. Sunday was spent slouched in a bean bag, leggings and a comfy jumper on, watching the rugby, flitting between writing blog posts and my university essay with a hot chocolate in hand.

What's made you smile this week?
