When I popped on my glasses to go to the cinema and realised I'd been wearing the same pair for the past five years, I knew it was time to get my eyes tested and switch them for something a little more chic.

I wanted a stylish pair that wouldn't break the bank and I also wanted to get anti-glare and scratch protection... which most of the time are additional extra at around £30+ each, eeek.

Bailey Nelson offer the absolute best service in my opinion. They have a great selection of frames, there's a shape and style for everyone and they're all a set price! This was a complete sway for me - any of the beautiful frames, with my prescription lenses plus the usual 'added extras' are considered essential, so anti-glare and scratch protection will cost you no more. There are are a few different bands of pricing, my new frames cost just £105 - which is a lot cheaper than designer frames in other stores (and that's without the extras!)

I popped into their Covent Garden store and the staff could not have been more helpful. They gave me opinions on the different frames I tried on (I'm the most indecisive person you'll ever meet, so that's v helpful), I already had my eye test results with my prescription, so they put my order in and within a week they had arrived back in store and were ready to be picked up. As simple as that!
I got the Parker glasses in 'Speckled Tort' and I want to wear them ALL the time.

I know, totally sounds like an AD (I wish!) but it's not. I was just so impressed with the service and price, there was no small print or strings attached, so I really can't recommend them enough!

I really love Autumn and Winter fashion, I love layering pieces, I love the burgundy, kahki, mustard shades, the dusky pastels and then the deep greens, reds and black around Christmas - and for that reason I love putting together Lookbooks at this time of year.
This is the final look I'm yet to blog about from this years Lookbook. This dusky rose pink pinafore dress, with a cute bee print shirt underneath, rocked up a little bit with black buckle boots, a leather jacket and a fur headband. This outfit is the perfect combination of looks for me, it combines feminine and classy with edgy.

I love finding a dress that makes me feel great and doesn't break the bank in doing so! My Mumma actually picked this dress up for me, in Tesco of all places! It's in the F&F collection and it was around £14. It's comfortable, light and looks lovely cinched in at the waist to give it more shape, or left alone to give boho vibe to it. Although this colour isn't in stock anymore, they have a gorgeous black floral print and orange paisley print one in the same shape. You can see this and many more pieces, in my super affordable Summer Clothing Haul at the bottom of this post.

We snapped these photos whilst I was heading out for dinner with Henry, the light was so beautiful and I felt so great in the dress that I wanted to get the photos done there and then! I maaay have made him pull over in the lay-by next to the field to do so...

It featured in my recent Summer Haul, with all items being super affordable and UNDER £28! I shopped everywhere, Primark, H&M, Topshop, Brand Melville, Tesco, Pull & Bear... the list goes on.
Back in full force on my YouTube channel with a Summer Primark Haul!

I love the bits I've picked up so wanted to share them with you all.

I do love a good re-fresh in the skincare and beauty stash! Seeing new products sitting there all full and pretty on the shelf just makes me feel a little bit warm and fuzzy inside. No half empty bottles, no  chance of hitting pan and no product shaking to get every last drop out! So when I had run out of a lot of my essentials at the same time, I knew it was time to head to Superdrug to stock up!

Hope you're having a great week!

Tomorrow is my 21st birthday!
t w e n t y - f r e a k i n g - o n e !
As you probably know, I'm a student and doing things on a budget is a regular occurrence in my current lifestyle. So, when it came to deciding what to do for my birthday I knew it had to be within a budget! Being me, I wanted a full on party where I could celebrate with all of my friends and family and drink and dance the night away!

So here are some of my tips to planning a party on a budget!

- Look for free venues! I was surprised to see that here in Brighton, there were a number of lovely venues that were free to hire! Some venues allowed me to hire a section for my party with a limited number, some venues let you hire the whole thing and some venues, obviously do charge to hire the space. The price of venues can vary massively, so do your research.

- Start Early! I cant stress this one enough! I missed out on a few great venues because I started my search that little too late, especially as my birthday is right at the start of christmas party season.

- Decorations. I suggest looking on Ebay and Etsy before you go to your local party shop. You can get lovely decorations for a lot cheaper online. I ordered these from Ebay and had them delivered to my local Argos. Simple, easy and fuss free and they look really pretty. I also found some beautiful decorations in the Oliver Bonas sale, they were such a steal!

- You don't want hungry guests! This was where the money started to tot up unfortunately. If you're using a venue (which if you're a student is likely, student flats aren't ideal for fancy parties!) they would either want you to buy food off their menu or not to have any. My venue serves Indian Street food, I asked the venue what the best food for group was on their menu, luckily they had some platters that were ideal for sharing. I've ordered a number of those to have on the tables, as I didn't want to provide nothing. This way you've given your some little bites, but they can order more food at the bar if they're hungry!

Have you got anymore tips for party planning on a budget?
Let me know!

It's finally finished, My Autumn Look Book!
It was important to me that everything featured in the LookBook was affordable, especially as I'm a student which can mean money can be tight at times, so all these shops are high street stores and nothing I'm wearing is pricey! Have a little look in the description box for all the outfit details.
