Rounding up some NY essentials for you! In January I'm all about positive vibes, new skin care and maybe a new little something in my wardrobe. I don't go overboard, as it's just after Christmas, but I think a few treats to lift your spirits in a new year are allowed! I may or may not have picked up some of these bits myself already and my ASOS save later is full to bursting...

Happy shopping! x

The UK has been seriously hotting up over the past month and having just stepped off a flight back from a week in beautiful Mallorca, my summer wardrobe is full to bursting with new and old goodies perfect for this heat.

This season I'm loving lemon prints, bold stripes, statement earrings and simple, but flattering bikinis. My holiday outfits were a combo of these, with my simple go to pieces like tan block heels, silver hoop earrings, blue and white patterns and monochrome stripes.

After a recent purchase of ASOS Premier, I've found myself stalking the virtual aisles of ASOS on a regular basis frequently filling up my basket and over-using the 'save for later' button. These are my top picks for your heatwave and holiday wardrobe.

I thought I'd shed a little light on the beauty, skincare and haircare products I take away with me too. My hair is coloured and curly, so sun, sea and swimming pools can really take their toll on my dry hair. I stock up on Moroccan Oil and nourishing shampoo and conditioners for trips away. My fail safe sun cream is Garnier Ambre Solaire, my family have used it for as long as I can remember, the smell is a nostalgic favourite. When I'm feeling like I need to fake it till you make it, the Bondi Sands Dry Tanning Oil is the best for a seriously convincing fake tan. Jo Malone's Tropical Cherimoya scent is my new summer spritz, but Clarins Eau Dynamisante is an old favourite.

What's on your hotlist for your holiday?
One of the pieces I'm always reaching for with the temperamental UK weather is a jumper dress. I find it's the perfect thing to wear in Spring, when it's certainly not hot, but a coat might be a little much (well, maybe not if the recent snow we've had rears it's head again!) I feel my best in a dress and tights as it tends to flatter parts of me I like the most and cover up areas I might like to hide a little more, but lots of dresses are more fitting for sunnier climes, that's where my fave staple jumper dress comes in.
It's a classic piece I'll wear throughout most seasons - Spring, Autumn and Winter. Paired with simple or statement jewellery it can be dressed up or dress down to fit the occasion. If I'm heading out for cocktails, but wanting to combine comfort with style, I'll wear a jumper dress with statement earrings, belted at the waist with tights and heeled boots. If I'm spending a day out and about with friends, I'll go for simple jewellery, a belt, tights and flat boots. Oooor on the complete other end of the spectrum, it's perfect to just throw on for a day working from home, comfy and you feel a little better than working in tight jeans or slouchy PJ's!

This is the *So Lost Sweater Dress from TOBI, an LA based clothing company with free worldwide shipping! They kindly got in touch recently and sent over a few pieces - this dress and beautiful star necklace being two of them. I browsed the site for hours, it's full of affordable clothing and there's a style for everyone.

*These items were kindly sent to me, but all my honest own opinions.

Despite the recent snow-storms and minus temperatures we've had, I've been shopping for a few affordable pieces to kick start my Spring/Summer wardrobe. I'm loving prints and bright colours and desperate for a little warmth, sunshine and let's face it... a tan!

What are your fave pieces in the haul? Let me know!

I'm desperate to update my wardrobe by slowly introducing a few pieces for Spring (longing for a little sunshine and warmth!) but I'm also really trying to watch my spending. I popped into Primark to pick up a few pieces, to refresh my style a little without breaking the bank!

Who doesn't love a Primark Haul?! They have some beaut pieces in there that I had to resist, but there'll be many more hauls to come, that's for sure!

What's your favourite item? Blue velvet boots win it for me I think!

I love a good wardrobe switch up when the seasons are changing. New styles and trends are coming in thick and fast and I love discovering how to work them into my own style.

Alongside some snaps taken on Brighton pier at the weekend, I've put together five trends that I am loving right now and cant wait to experiment with more in my own Spring/Summer wardrobe.
Gingham Top

1. Get the Gingham

I'm seeing gingham absolutely everywhere at the moment, so I knew I wanted to get some gingham items in my wardrobe asap. I picked up this top for only £6 in Primark and I love it.

2. Bring on the Bardot

I know bardot tops had their moment last year, but I'm still seeing them everywhere and I still want a wardrobe full of them. I really like my collarbones (is that weird?) so I find the off the shoulder look quite flattering. They are in no way practical because I can't raise my arms higher than my boobs, which means getting my groove on is out of the question, but it's a sacrifice I'm (occasionally) willing to make.

3. 90's vibes in Oversized Denim

I've been on the search for an Oversized denim jacket for a while now and finally found one I love. It is big and baggy, but is fitted on the shoulders, it's also longline, which flatters my shape more than really big, wide baggy ones. I'm wearing it constantly at the moment and I don't see that changing any time soon.

4. When life gives you Lemons

Lemon print has suddenly burst onto the scene (Dolce & Gabbana, I'm looking at you...) and personally, it is a print I adore and can't get enough of. So bright, so summery! There's D&G copies everywhere, so I'm keeping my eye out for one I love enough, but for now this scarf I picked up on a whim two years ago is filling the void!

5. Earrings, All the statement earrings.

Now the gold hoops I'm wearing may not be statement, as such, but they've set me off on a dangerous path (that ends in looking a lot like Pat Butcher...) I want tassels, bright colours and huge beads - I'm on a serious hunt. I've got my eye on a bright red, beaded, tassel-y pair in H&M already.

What wardrobe staples are you after right now?

NEW VIDEO TIME!

My wardrobe was well overdue a huge clear out, so I thought I'd film the process - as it's the kind of mundane task that I strangely LOVE to watch videos about (I'm sure I'm not the only one?)

So after a nightmare filming, including out of focus footage and then losing footage... the video has finally made it up on my channel, so please go and give it some love!

Are you feeling like you need a wardrobe Spring Clean too?!

Today I'm gonna have a ramble about this new bomber jacket I'm absolutely LOVING right now.
My Mumma kindly picked it up for me when she was out recently as a little present. She snooped around Outfit and found this in Dorothy Perkins - which isn't a place I tend to shop in that often (for no other reason other than forgetting it exists!) The jacket is by Blue Vanilla and is only £18 online, bargain.

It's the perfect transitional piece between Winter/Spring/Summer - it's a warm, thick material so it will keep you warm if there's a chilly breeze, but it's not a heavy jacket or coat that you'll end up carrying for the rest of the day if the sun shines. It's the perfect in between for the unpredictable Spring weather.

It's on trend with the floral embroidery on the body of the jacket, which oddly enough ties they burgundy, grey and navy & white stripe together. They're not colours I'd typically put together but the embroidery somehow manages to make it all work.

I've paired it with my blue high-waisted skinny jeans, a simple white tee, brown Chelsea boots, a brown belt and my usual black handbag. A very simple, casual look that I seem to be drawn to each time I open my wardrobe - perfect for Spring weekends.

What kind of jackets do you go for during Spring?

Finally, I had the chance to sit down and film a proper video. Whilst I love love love Vlogging and have been uploading vlogs over the past few weeks, I do enjoy sitting down to share some new purchases and to have a ramble to you guys.

This is a Primark Haul - including some BARGAIN leopard print boots, neon coral sweaters and palm leaf prints so you do not want to miss out!

Basically, I'm drooling every time I step into ZARA right now. Their Spring collection is to die for and I just want it all to honest, ha!

I just thought I'd pop for favourites up on the blog to share my top picks. I'll let the shirts do the talking!

Anyone have £221.15 they'd like to lend me...?

With the purse-strings being a little tight right now, I'm on a shopping ban... but ohhh boyyy I wish I wasn't! Every shop is rolling out their beautiful Spring lines and I've fallen in love with every pale blue, off the shoulder, blush pink or embroidered number I've seen!

So, just to tease myself I've scrolled through ASOS and picked out a few Spring pieces I'm dying to purchase right now (and might just do so if I get the chance to!) But I love having a look through ASOS to get inspiration for wardrobe updates each season.

I picked up this leather look skirt from H&M about three years ago, I wore it a few times and then it sat gathering dust in my wardrobe, with me rarely feeling like I was confident enough to pull it off.

With the pinch of the purse strings in January, I haven't really had the funds to update my wardrobe with new pieces so I've tried to re-work some of the items that have gone a little unnoticed, but I've not got rid of just incase I want to wear them 'one day' (I'm sure we've all done that one). Starting with this skirt.

I spent last sunny Sunday wandering around Spitalfields market, all wrapped warm with this outfit under my coat and oversized scarf. Despite it being a rather casual day, I felt like I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and pair the skirt with something I wouldn't usually think to wear it with.

I went for this black and white 60's style jumper, black boots with a rose gold heel and silver hoop earrings, I felt cool, sophisticated without feeling over-dressed. I'd recently picked up the jumper, a steal at £10 from Primark, thick black and white stripes, wide sleeves and a high neck, it just felt like the perfect casual jumper to pair the skirt with.

I feel so happy I decided to bite the bullet and wear this skirt, it's making its way to be a firm favourite in my wardrobe and I'm thinking of so many different ways I can style it, to dress it up or down. It's definitely made me think about ways I can style up the items that are longing for a bit of loving in my wardrobe!

Have you got items you could save from the depths of your wardrobe?!

Lots of us spend a lot of December days being weighed down by bags full of gifts for loved ones and after traipsing around all day you can feel a lil' bit knackered!

For that reason, it's so important to me that I'm super comfy - wearing clothes that are comfortable and shoes that won't rub and can withstand a good bit of walking up and down the high street. (Obviously the most comfortable way to do Christmas shopping is in your PJ's, on the sofa with a laptop... but you've got to face the crowds at least once!)

This little outfit I've put together if the perfect mix of comfortable and chic, perfect if you've got a long day ahead of you out and about in town, but you still want to look nice.

I've simply put on a cosy roll neck jumper, with my favourite high waisted jeans and paired it with a longline camel coat and a pair of Over-The-Knee black boots. I love wearing OTK boots, but usually with a heel to add a bit of height and elongate my legs, but they're not practical for shopping. So these are a great alternative, I loved wearing these all day - they were super comfortable and really pulled the outfit together.

Hair curled using Babyliss 'Tight Curls Wand'

This is also a hair & jewellery combo I'm obsessed with. I've been using a Tight Curls wand on my hair and I love the outcome, I feel like I've stepped out of the 80's/reverted back to the hair I was rocking at the age of 5. It's a bit different, but I like that. I think it goes so well with a pair of hoop earrings too, which I certainly didn't think I'd be wearing ever again. I picked up a pack of two from ASOS for £3 and I've worn them pretty much everyday.

What are your go-to's when you want be comfortable, but chic?

Back in full force on my YouTube channel with a Summer Primark Haul!

I love the bits I've picked up so wanted to share them with you all.
Please subscribe if you'd like to see more videos!

I'm sure we've all had those occasions where we're straight from a working day to out for a night with friends, but without an outfit to change into we're stuck in structured suits feeling uncomfortable when we just want to let our hair down!

I have recently been in contact with British business wear brand, T.M.Lewinwho set me a little challenge of putting together a perfect 'Presentation to Pub' look, for both women and men. For both outfits I thought I'd start with a white shirt, black trousers combo, give yourself a blank canvas to work with and you just can't go wrong!

To take this simple look from day to night, I'd switch the black blazer for a super sexy suede jacket, adding a pop of colour and a little more excitement. I'd keep your make up simple and classy in the day with nude eyes and lips and for the evening smoke up your eyes and pop on a dark lip. A few simple changes that will leave you ready for your night out!

For the mens look, I kept thing simple with the white shirt & black trousers and wanted the jacket to be a main feature again. Switch the smart black blazer for a suave suede jacket and your office shoes for a pair of brogues and you'll be suited and booted for a night out with friends.

What are your favourite tips for taking an outfit from day-to-night?
