We all need those wardrobe staples that can take an outfit from basic to stylish and sophisticated in a matter of seconds, right? I've currently got two go to items that do just that..

A coat can often be the main part of your outfit throughout autumn and winter - a day up in London spent dipping in and out of shops means you'll be wearing your coat for the majority of the day! This is why I love purchasing a new winter coat, as I know I'll be getting so much wear out of it.
I recently picked up this gorgeous Long Line Camel Coat from New Look for just £34.99 (it's actually now in the sale with £10 off, so hurry hurry hurry!) and I have not stopped wearing it since. It's flattering, it fits a chunky jumper underneath without looking bulky and is super cosy without being too thick and heavy. The colour is smart and sophisticated and goes with absolutely everything!

I'm a shorty. I'm about 5"3 so anything that gives me a little bit of height instantly makes me feel better about myself and a bit more confident. I love a pair of chunky heeled boots, they're comfy enough to wear all day long and give that little bit of extra height to feel a tad slinkier and to extend those legs a little!
My current go to pair are these ones, also from New Look (Similar). Although these were last season, they have plenty of similar pairs and New Look boots have never failed me so far! These are tan 'suede' with a black chunky heel (by chunky, I just mean not a stiletto heel!) gold hardware and tassels on the zip.
Adding both these wardrobe staples to an outfit makes me so much more confident and stylish within seconds. I feel so much more put together, even if I haven't made too much of an effort with the outfit underneath.
I've paired them with a roll neck striped top, a black a-line skirt and a signature red lip. I've gone for simple jewellery with just my silver rings from Silverado in Brighton. This was for a day of roasts and countryside dog walks with my boyfriends family and it was a perfect outfit for a mix of comfort and style. Obviously I swapped out the boots for wellies for the dog walk!

Whilst I'm home over Summer, I miss Brighton like nobody's business. It is my home from home and I feel so calm and happy when I'm back by the seaside. Henry & I popped down there last week for an afternoon by the sea, in the sunshine.
I saw the sunny day as a great opportunity to wear my new Denim Dungarees from Primark & Striped Crop Top from Miss Selfridge. I am obsessed with this combo at the moment, so summery, comfy & practical. And they were only £10! I knew I had to snap them up instantly!
The neckline of the top is super flattering, showing a little bit more shoulder and collarbone than a standard shaped neckline. I love pairing it with High Waisted Black Skinny Jeans too, it shows a little bit of midriff but nothing too revealing.
The Dungarees are super comfortable and make any outfit look effortlessly cool. I wouldn't recommend them if you're going to be doing a lot of walking as I find I end up pulling them down a lot, but for a chilled out day - they're perfect!
I'm Wearing ::
Denim Dungarees - Primark
Striped Crop Top - Miss Selfridge
Red Bandana - Primark

I snapped a few shots of Henry in practise for some band shots I'm taking for him in a few weeks. He's looking rather handsome, if I do say so myself.

Feeling famished, we headed to The Breakfast Club in Brighton, to try it out for the first time! I was delighted when I heard The Breakfast Club was coming to Brighton as I've always wanted to try it out. I'll have a full post coming up soon hopefully, you can see their website here. Henry took a few more outfit photos for me and we headed inside.

I went for an Iced Tea with lemon and mint, Henry went for a beer and we both had the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Oh my gosh, It was too die for. Slow roasted BBQ pork, oozing red leicester cheese, on a sweet toasted bun with gherkins and pickled red cabbage (which was possibly my favourite addition) with a small side salad and pot of crispy skin on fries.
Feeling stuffed and very content we wandered through the streets for a bit then headed home. Already excited for my next trip back to Brighton...
I thought I'd take your on a little journey on how I get ready for a night out. In this case it was my wonderful best friends 1920's Glamour themed 21st birthday party! So we're talking Gatsby-esque get up - glitz and glam and lots of sparkly embellishment.

Hello! I thought I'd throw together a little Spring Wishlist as I'd seen so many beautiful things! I always think Spring to Autumn seems like such a big jump wardrobe wise. The sun appears and I suddenly want to dowse myself in pastels and wear flowers in my hair!
(Click the shop link below to view the items)
1. Black Lace Blouse, Sheinside - I've seen any tops like this on the highstreet and with a price like that, it would be rude to say no!
2. Mandala Print Tank, ASOS - I'm obsessed with Mandala prints so this this slouchy tank top is perfect.
3. Beige Layered Dress, Fashion Union - With wedding season, holiday season and, lets face it, 'show a little bit of skin' season coming up, dresses like this one are perfect to dress up or dress down!
4. White Wide Leg Trousers,Missguided- I've got an hourglass figure, so I'm not 100% this style will suit me.. but if Kim K can get away with it... so can I, right?
5. Blue Knitted Jumper, Pretty Little Thing - I've got a thing for coloured jumpers paired with white jeans at the moment. This gorgeous baby blue number
6. Black T-Shirt Dress, ASOS - Perfect to sling on for comfort and then accessorise.
7. Lace Cold Shoulder Dress, ASOS - So dreamy. Festivals, beach days, pub gardens, sunny walks, anything.
8. Beige Wide Leg Trousers - Missguided - Again, another one I'm not entirely sure will suit me, but I'm dying to get my hands on a pair.
9. Blue & White Playsuit, Boohoo - I'm a complete sucker for a blue and white combo. I love the shape of this playsuit too.
10. Floral Print Oversized Shirt, Missguided - I've had my eye on this for a while, I think I might jus thave to give in to temptation.
11. Peach Jersey Top, Missguided - A pretty spring/summer basic to have lurking in the wardrobe.
12. Black & White Kimono, Boohoo - Kimonos are fab when it's warm, but a little too chilly for bare arms! Black and white keeps in simple, but it's made more interesting by a bold print!
