I'm nervous to press post on this one! I love make up but it's not particularly my forte so it's a little scary putting a video of what I do on the internet! I just do what works for me and although I love bold eyes and lips, I'm not a fan of a lot of face make up at all, so recently I haven't been wearing foundation. I absolutely adore this look and it is a go to for Autumn/Winter for me. Using some very special Charlotte Tilbury make up to some of my highstreet faves and there's even a great new lip product discovery in there too.
Enjoy! Be Kind...! There's a new vlog coming your way Sunday, so stay tuned.

A slightly different video from me this week. In my day-to-day life I get frustrated putting on a full face of make-up. I'm not a huge fan of the feeling of foundation on my face, I feel frustrated when it's all a mess by the end of the day and I don't like putting it on in the morning when I'm just running errands, doing admin and pottering about in the day. Of course I love getting a little more glam if I'm up to more exciting things but day to day, I just don't like the fuss.
So, here is my 4-products/NO foundation make up routine - I surprised myself, feeling so much more confident despite the nearly naked face and it takes less than five minutes! Give it a go!

I can't be the only one who loves being able to bring out the autumn lipsticks? Plum purples, cherry reds and post-box reds are the perfect shades for A/W and will set you up to have all the festive lips going on at Christmas. (Yep, I said it. the C word. In October. Can't wait.)
Of course, you can wear these shades all year round, but these are my favourites ones to whip out at this time of year, so I though I'd share them with you. They're all available in Boots and Superdrug and none are over £7!
Starting with my absolute go-to signature red lip. L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Exclusive Reds in Blake. Blake Lively is my ultimate girl crush, so I'd of probably bought this lipstick even if it had been bright green, but it's not, it's the most beautiful post-box, matte red you'll ever see. Think MAC's Ruby Woo but waaay less drying on your lips - which in the winter months, especially, is a very good thing! I use a red lip pencil KIKO (similar) to line my lips for a really precise and sharp outline. It has crazy staying power, but transfers easily and will end up all over your face if you scoff down a burger (tried and tested!) Although this is an Autumn lipstick picks video, I will just say this is THE Christmas red lip that you need in your life!
I wasn't too sure if I wanted to jump on the matte liquid lipsticks bandwagon if I'm honest - I'm always worried about them being far too drying and making my lips sore or just looking there's not an ounce of moisture on my face. But with a couple of boots points to spare I picked up this NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes, a gorgeous dusky, rosy pink and I was pleasantly surprised! They're not drying at all, very creamy and have great staying power.
If Zoella, the Queen of the Christmas red lip, says Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107 is her to-go red lipstick, then it's one I had to try. A deep red with a slight plummy undertone, it's the perfect 'starter' lipstick if you're just starting to wear darker colours but you're not quite ready for browny/purple tones! It's matte, but not drying.
As I said before I was hesitant to pick these up, but I was such a fan that I picked up another. This NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen is a deep purple/plum with a slight hint of red. It's probably the most daring lipstick I own, but I feel so confident wearing it. The doe foot applicator means you can insure all the edges are sharp and the staying power is amazing, which is a must when it's dark colour.
Turns out this is the only lipstick that isn't matte in this Autumn picks, I suppose I prefer matte textures when I'm going for a bold colour. This one, however, is a favourite. The Collection Deluxe Lipstick in Prohibition is a cherry red, with a slight undertone of dark pink. It applies like a dream and isn't too glossy, but leaves a nice sheen on the lips and stays super creamy.
So those are my Top 5 Autumn Lipsticks! What are your favourites? (I'm forever on the hunt for more... You can never have too many!)

Being a huge fan of Tanya Burr's Lip glosses, I knew I had to try out her palettes when they were recently released. It was pretty perfect timing as I had just hit pan in my previous brow palette and it had shattered into a million and one pieces! This brow product really is all you need for perfect brows.
I personally prefer using powders to using eyebrow pencils, as I find them too precise and blocky for me personally. There are three brow shades and a highlighter in this palette, meaning there is a brow shade for everyone! I can actually use all the shades in the palette, depending on what look I'm going for. If I want a strong dark brow I'll use hot cocoa, if I'm going more subtle I'll use pebble. The names are also super sweet and a lovely touch!
There's a great sized mirror, which is always handy & it does come with mini tweezers and a slanted brush, which is helpful if you ever forget your brushes (this happened the other day. It was a total life saver as eyebrows just can't be done with your fingertips!) This is such an affordable product, but the small price tag doesn't mean it lacks anything in quality - it's highly pigmented with great staying power.
I've got my eye on the Hollywood palette next, it looks absolutely dreamy!

After hearing every beauty YouTuber rave about the By Terry Ombre BlackStar eyeshadow sticks, I was eager to purchase some but with their expensive price tag, that was a no go. But I didn't lose hope, as I'd heard the Kiko Long Lasting Eye Shadow Sticks were a great dupe and at £6.90 & 30% off in the new Brighton store, I wasn't going to say no!
'Long Lasting' is an understatement. I had a million and one swatches on my hand when I left the store, but obviously I had no make up remover on me! After two washes, with hot soap and water, they. would. not. budge. I had to really rub at the to get them off my hand, yet with make up remover they come off like a dream. So no harsh rubbing on your eyes!
The shades that really caught my eye were 05 - Rosy Brown and 07 - Golden Beige - a rose gold and a bright white gold. Shimmery and ever so beautiful. They're super easy to apply and you don't have to be too neat with the initial application as you can use a brush to blend. Unfortunately the shade that doesn't blend very well is 07, but as it's my favourite, I'm persistent and I make it work! That shade really makes your eyes pop!
(Top to Bottom - 04 - 05 - 07 - 38)
With the amazing shades and great price tag, they're definitely a good addition to your make up collection if you're not wanting to splash out on high end brands!
MUA Blush - Bubblegum - I hit pan on my last MUA blush in Lolly and it all broke into a million pieces! So went in search to replace it. With no luck I decided to go for a pinker shade. The pigment in the blush is crazy! For £1 you can't go wrong.
Models Own - Beach Bag - Tan enhancing nail polish? Does it get much better than that? I've currently got this on my toes and it looks so lovely! Make sure you have lots of time to apply it though, it's definitely one that shows up every little error!
Kiko Long Lasting Eye Shadow Sticks - I've got a post coming up on these, but basically long lasting is a huge understatement!
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess - I'm a waterproof mascara gal so when my last one ran out, I went on the hunt for a different one and this has lived up to expectations. It holds the curl and doesn't budge. It's also a rubber wand, which I personally prefer!
Make Up Revolution Matte Eye Shadow Palette - Redemption - I've never worn matte eyeshadow, in fact, never owned any matte eyeshadows and I've realised I am missing out big time. I've only tried a few of the lighter shades so far and I'm really impressed.

On Tuesday evening I took myself off to Space NK in windy old Brighton, for an evening full of beauty talk, champagne, sweet treats and two of the loveliest ladies in YouTube.
Bloggers & YouTubers, Lily Pebbles & Vivianna Does Make Up, took their popular 'Beauty Chat' videos on tour in Space NK's across the UK. It seemed to be a massive success if you ask me! It was so lovely to have a browse through all the fabulous skincare, make up and haircare, chat to beauty experts and talk to Anna and Lily in a lovely relaxed environment.
Of course, I took my camera to take a few snaps for a blog post. I also spent a little more money than planned... but I'll get onto that in a bit!
The girls started off the evening with a Q&A from Twitter and a few questions from us there. In response to 'How did you manage beauty blogging and university' the answer is... 'Just don't buy books!' Anna's words... not mine! We all had a laugh and she took her words back pretty quickly when the girl who asked was an English Student! (But seriously, she's totally right, in most cases, they're all in the library!)
I had a lovely chat with Anna & Lily, it was so nice to meet them. We talked singing, BIMM, skincare and their Teenage Throwback playlist, which sounds right up my street. Anything that contains 'Thong Song' - Sisqo has gotta be good, right? They said they wanted to hear me sing... so if you're reading this, this is my YouTube channel!
Beauty experts were dotted around the whole store ready to help with any questions you had about products. I was helped by a lovely lady called Lesley on the Space NK Pro Team who found me the perfect products, with recommendations from Lily too.
On to the spending.
I went with the intention to spend £10, as our £15 ticket was redeemable on a product we purchased, so I'd be getting a nice £25 product. I actually ended up spending £37... just to get this incredible goody bag. I regret nothing. The goody bag must be worth a hell of a lot, there's so many amazing products in there. I'll start with the bits I picked out first...
Dark under-eye circles are pretty much the bane of my life. I know they're not the end of the world, but I'm super conscious of them so I want to try and get rid of them. I picked up the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado & the Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer in Custard to bust those bad boys! I then grabbed Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat... One - to get me over the spending limit for the goody bag... and Two - because who doesn't love 'fast dry' when it comes to nails!
Now onto the goody bag. Just look at the contents of it. There was no way I could say no to this, so many products I've only dreamed of owning on my student budget! This also means I now have lots of new lovely products, big and small, to review on here!
