I love a good list. Stumbling upon a list of 'things that make you happy' is one of the best things. Especially when you can just read the whole thing thinking 'ah I love that!' and 'yes! That's the best!'
I haven't written a '10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week' post in a while, but I thought I would change things up a bit and just tell you some of my favourite things. It might be from that particular week, it might be just in general, but it'll all be things that put a smile on my face.

breakfast & blogging; the best. |
- Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Late to the bandwagon on this one, but it's like drinking a cup of Autumn. Autumn tastes pretty darn good.
- Great British Bake Off. obviously.
- When you wake up up to sunshine pouring through your window.
- Henry & I had his flat to ourselves last night. He cooked us risotto for dinner, we just had a completely chilled out evening, in pyjamas, watching (& getting very seriously hooked on) Doctor Foster. It was just really lovely to be doing nothing fancy and to have some time be just us two.

What makes you happy?

Being a huge fan of Tanya Burr's Lip glosses, I knew I had to try out her palettes when they were recently released. It was pretty perfect timing as I had just hit pan in my previous brow palette and it had shattered into a million and one pieces! This brow product really is all you need for perfect brows.
I personally prefer using powders to using eyebrow pencils, as I find them too precise and blocky for me personally. There are three brow shades and a highlighter in this palette, meaning there is a brow shade for everyone! I can actually use all the shades in the palette, depending on what look I'm going for. If I want a strong dark brow I'll use hot cocoa, if I'm going more subtle I'll use pebble. The names are also super sweet and a lovely touch!
There's a great sized mirror, which is always handy & it does come with mini tweezers and a slanted brush, which is helpful if you ever forget your brushes (this happened the other day. It was a total life saver as eyebrows just can't be done with your fingertips!) This is such an affordable product, but the small price tag doesn't mean it lacks anything in quality - it's highly pigmented with great staying power.
I've got my eye on the Hollywood palette next, it looks absolutely dreamy!

Today I thought I'd let you in on how I make my favourite cocktail at home! I am a sucker for any kind of cocktail but I love mojitos, especially with some passionfruit added.
You can pretty much make these however you'd like. I've done it in various different ways with various different utensils... on our first attempt, our cocktail shaker was the bottle from my Blend Active Blender. Things have got a little more classy since then & I purchased this copper cocktail shaker from Sainsburys.
I'm also not very precise on measurements either (Good job on the recipe post G, It's going well...) I just do it to taste! But here's what you'll need for your at home mojitos!
White Rum
Soda Water
Fresh Mint Leaves
Limes
Agave Nectar (Or sugar, but I prefer the syrup as it dissolves quickly)
& passionfruit if you want to change it up a bit.
Throw your mint, lime juice (& the rest of the lime, why not ey?) white rum and your sugar/syrup into a cocktail shaker and give it a good old shake. Pour it equally into your glasses then top up with soda water. Ideally have your glass filled with crush ice & some mint leaves, but that's not essential!
As you can probably tell, it's pretty much trial and error every time! I've had some that taste heavenly & some that don't taste of much. Either way, they're so much fun to make with friends, so pop to the shops, grab the ingredients and you're good to go for a girls night in!
Cheers!
