There's so many reason as to why I love Autumn...
Apologies for the leaf overload, but leaving the city for a bit and heading back home was breathtaking. Autumn holds so much beauty.
Crunchy leaves lining the pavements.
Carving Pumpkins, the smell reminds me of my childhood, all the nostalgia.
Salted Caramel Everything.
Fresh, crisp, chilly days with the sun shining.
Gnawing (or nearly breaking your teeth) on toffee apples.
Fireworks.
Sipping on Hot Chocolates.
Splashes of red, orange, green and yellow dotting the tops of the trees.
Pumpkin Spice Everything.
Having an excuse to light all your candles.
Chunky knitted hats & oversized scarves.
Rainy days being the perfect excuse for cosy, lazy days.
Finding conkers.
Perfect sweater/cuddle weather.
Muddy wellington boots piled by the door after a long, chilly walk.
Fun with sparklers.
Apple and blackberry crumble, with blackberries you picked on a walk, of course.
The exciting lead up to Christmas.
Do you love Autumn? Tell me why!

I love a good list. Stumbling upon a list of 'things that make you happy' is one of the best things. Especially when you can just read the whole thing thinking 'ah I love that!' and 'yes! That's the best!'
I haven't written a '10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week' post in a while, but I thought I would change things up a bit and just tell you some of my favourite things. It might be from that particular week, it might be just in general, but it'll all be things that put a smile on my face.

breakfast & blogging; the best. |
- Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Late to the bandwagon on this one, but it's like drinking a cup of Autumn. Autumn tastes pretty darn good.
- Great British Bake Off. obviously.
- When you wake up up to sunshine pouring through your window.
- Henry & I had his flat to ourselves last night. He cooked us risotto for dinner, we just had a completely chilled out evening, in pyjamas, watching (& getting very seriously hooked on) Doctor Foster. It was just really lovely to be doing nothing fancy and to have some time be just us two.

What makes you happy?
I just feel like having a little ramble, really. Just a few goings on in my life, things that have made me happy.
- Seeing the glowing faces of the newlyweds on Saturday Evening. An absolutely beautiful wedding for two absolutely beautiful people!
- Taking the time out to actually read some blogs again. Youtube is easy to pop on and binge watch, but I really do love it when I take the time out to read inspiring words and admire beautiful photos taken by fellow bloggers.
- Snapping away on my Olympus Pen. This camera has already revolutionised the way I blog and it fills me with joy that I can now create so many of the images that are currently just bobbing about in my mind!
- Enjoying a spot of successful holiday shopping!
- I love being at home, but I miss the beach and the buzz of Brighton on a daily basis!
- Wild flowers in jars brightening up my room. They're from the wedding, as there were so many when we tidied up on Sunday. Such a happy little reminder!
- A very special dress handmade for me by my Granny. The perfect summer dress. I can't wait to shoot some photos of it.
What's made you happy recently? :)
