One of my favourite posts to write, my little positivity log that makes me take a minute to reflect on the moments, big or little, that made my week a little sweeter.
1. Working hard for something I'd really like to achieve, but also realising the hard work won't be wasted if it's doesn't work out.
2. Daffodils in the shops and little snow drops starting to pop up in patches of woodland. Very early, but hopeful signs of Spring.
3. A chilled weekend after endless weekends of celebrations since November. Called for sleepy mornings, relaxed evenings and comfy clothes.
4. Turning to the last page of my first book of the year.
5. Friends on Netflix. Need I say more?
6. Learning so much on a Jessops photography course on Friday. I left feeling very inspired and excited to see what I could create with my new knowledge. I also love that classes like this bring together the most random group of people, and apart from having photography in common, you end up finding so many things to chat about. We're not as different as we all think!
7. Reaching out to someone I'd love to work with on the off chance they'll agree and getting a YES back!
8. Bubble baths. I could count the amount of baths I've had in the past 5 years on one hand, but this year I realised just how relaxing they are and plan to make time for one each week.
9. A super fun shoot day with Ems for her portfolio. Arctic conditions, sassy snaps and some serious cry laughing.
10. Still feeling the 'new year' positivity vibes.
What's made you happy recently?

'Happy & Healthy' is going to be a little different this month. I'm going to have a ramble about someone very motivational...
There's a lady that has inspired me to kick some butt in the gym recently. Her name is Carly Rowena and she is an absolute babe.

I hadn't really found any YouTubers that I could relate to when it came to health and fitness. Some I watched and felt completely overwhelmed, some cooked with ingredients that would soak up my student budget in one hit and some I found a little too serious for my liking.
A few months ago I joined the gym and it was around the same time that I discovered Carly's videos. In fact the first day I went, I watched a video where she mentioned that it's okay to feel like a giant penis whilst doing your gym induction. Feeling a little nervous, it was just what I needed to hear, so I stood proud, feeling like a giant willy!
Her videos are informative, fun, colourful and some of them can be pretty hilarious. 'Alternative Uses for Tampons & Pads' with Hollie Wakeham had my housemate and I in tears! Workout routines, 30 Day Challenges, food diaries, meal ideas, fitness tags, workout wardrobes - everything you could want from a fitness guru really! She's a personal trainer, so really does know what she is talking about, but it doesn't come across in a patronising way in the slightest.

So if you haven't heard of Carly before, go and check out her YouTube Channel via the links below and have a snoop around her blog too!
This won't be the last time you'll see her name pop up on my blog, as I can pretty much assure you I'll be raving about a new video or blog post sometime soon! & who knows? I'll keep working hard and maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to meet, maybe even work out with the lovely lady!

The suns been rearing it's lazy old head recently. I couldn't be happier to see it. It's got me motivated! Summer bod, here I comeeeeee!!
(All you'll need for these to die for brownies!)
Music To Motivate - Style - Taylor Swift. I've become a bit obsessed with her last three singles, they get me through 10 minutes on the killer step machine in the gym! ;) I'm going to buy her album - on repeat that should get me through a pretty intense workout.
Inspiration Time - Have you guys seen Charlotte Crosby's incredible transformation?! She's put a hell of a lot of effort into her figure and it's 100% paid off. She's got an absolute killer body, she looks fantastic! I've just ordered her '3 Minute Belly Blitz' DVD off amazon, I'll keep you updated on it.
Feeling Peckish? - I have a super, super sweet tooth. When it comes to trying to be healthy, that can be a little bit of an issue. One of my favourite sweet treats is Chocolate Avocado Brownies. I've blogged the recipe here and there'll be a video up soon! They're still a treat, so I won't go eating a whole batch (...in one go at least!) but they're great for when I need to satisfy a sugar craving!
What To Wear - Have you seen my recently Wish/Want/Need Fitness Edition? The current workout must haves that I'm lusting after!
I Go To The Gym?! - I never, ever thought I'd be someone who headed to the gym a few times a week, but it turns out I am. It's always a little bit of a drag to go, but once I'm there, I love it. Afterwards, I feel amazing and a lot happier!
How are you keeping yourself happy and healthy?
Another video in collaboration with The Bloggers Hub!
What ways do you get your self inspired to blog?
Let me know in the comments!

It's time for the monthly instalment of Happy & Healthy again!
MUSIC TO MOTIVATE - Lips Are Movin' - Meghan Trainor. Now, I have to admit I wasn't a fan of her first single 'All About That Bass'. This one, however is so catchy and a good on to get you up and moving !
INSPIRATION TIME - Inspiration if ever I saw it, would 100% be my new favourite show/addiction, Total Divas. Those ladies have some seeerious bods and look incredible! Not only is the show totally entertaining with a lot of drama, sass and attitude, if you were made to watch (read: partake in 'at home' games of...) WWE whilst growing up by your big brother, you might also enjoy watching them do their thing in the ring too. Definitely going to be my 'gym time watching' to keep me motivated!
SWEAT IN STYLE - Missguided have recently released their new 'Active' range. It looks comfy and stylish and I'm definitely going to put an order in! This sports bra is gorgeous, just look at the back of it!
KEEP IN TIME - I'm going to start scheduling when I want to work out. If i leave it up to 'I'll do it when I feel like it'... It'll never happen! I'm going to try and fit in three workouts a week. Maybe one day, I'll be one of those people who enjoys working out and does it every day...
Are you taking any steps to keep happy and healthy this month?
So, it's 6:30am.
You're shattered after your post Superbowl sleep and now you're up early for work/school/university.
You can hear your bed, quite literally yelling your name, but you know you have to get on with your day. Make your bed; pillows fluffed, cushions plumped, duvet smooth and a throw folded at the end of your bed. That'll for sure shut it up!
Jump in the shower, use your favourite body wash. Get your day going with your favourite scents.
Make a lovely breakfast. Warm up with a hot cup of tea and a seaming bowl of porridge drizzled with honey and some berries.
Pop on your favourite bright lipstick, inject some colour into your monday.
Smile as you walk into your office. Smile as you buy your morning coffee. Smile as your pay for your train ticket. If someone did it to you, it'd mean a lot.

Take inspiration from the quote above and choose happiness.
If you're reading this post at the start of your day, give this a try.
Come back at the end of the day and tell me one thing that made your monday magical :)
My desk space...
A place for inspiration, determination and procrastination.
I knew the moment I saw this room, that i wanted to have the perfect desk space. A bright, light and airy space, with a sea view from the window!
I wrote this post a few months ago on Desk Space Inspiration, so I thought I'd update you on what I went for in the end.
I picked up these gorgeous candle holders from Tiger for £3 each, an absolute bargain!
The wall is covered in photos of my nearest and dearest, cute decorations and postcards!
I love having flowers on my desk, brings a little bit of life into it! These white flowers were only £3 from Tesco and have lasted three weeks! The roses were from my wonderful man, for our anniversary.
I absolutely love seeing interior posts, so link any in the comments below!

When moving house, this girl resorts to tumblr, pinterest and a hell of a lot of blogs.
I knew in my new room I have my desk by a huge window, therefore a very light and airy space.
A clear/tidy desk space is so important to me. It'll be where I write my essays, where I need to feel inspired, where I will write and plan blog posts and videos. So I want to get it just how I'd like it.
These are some of the photos I've got for inspiration.
(Source: Tumblr. I do not own any of these images)
They're all so beautiful in my eyes!
I'll update you on what kinda thing I go for when I settle in next week.
Hello there beauties!

Although I can't make my flat nice, I can make my bedroom lovely and just how I like it, and I have. My room is full of little things I love; photos, candles, cute and interesting books and fairy lights. As part of this 'Home Sweet Home' series I will be filming a Room Tour so keep your eyes peeled for that!
So, as I can only lust over things I'd put in my own house, I thought I'd start a blog/vlog series! You can expect to see room inspiration, storage ideas, wish/want lists and haul of bits and pieces I pick up for my room. Luckily a lot of things I see (unless they're kitchen or bathroom things) will work in my room.. or at least I will find a way to make them work! (I definitely get this from my mum whose job is in interior design!)
Check back on Sunday for the next 'Home Sweet Home' post!
