I'm currently spending most of my days writing essays, I have thousands and thousands of words to write and sometimes silence around me just won't cut it. I am a singer, writing for a professional musicianship degree, so a little music playing quietly whilst I work can't hurt, right? I put this playlist together with some of the tracks I find most calming, relaxing and enjoyable whilst working my way through my dissertation. There's a bit of Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran & Causes mixed in with some tropical house - which may be an odd mix, but it seems to get me through the day so I'll stick with it! If you like Tropical House, I also love this Kygo Mix on YouTube too.

So whether you're a third year uni student like me, stressing over your a-levels or doing your GCSE coursework, give this playlist a go!

Good luck with the essays! They'll be over soon, we can get through this together!

Here's a little round up of January's Weekly vlogs. This was my first solid month vlogging and if I'm honest, I found it difficult, but I absolutely loved it. It's so lovely to look back on moments with my friends, boyfriend and family - even moments where I'm sat at my desk having a chat, maybe a little a moan or filling you in on my plans for the day. I feel as a lifestyle blogger, my weekly vlogs sit alongside my channel perfectly.

As far as January's go, this one wasn't too bad! I'd say it's gone pretty smoothly for the start of a new year, but I'm glad it's February and I'm ready to take on this month. With a wrist operation smack bang in the middle of it and university deadlines looming at the start of March it could be a hectic one with many highs and lows, but I'll be taking you along for the ride!

Things to note for February ::

- Don't be scared of blogger events.
- Get quicker at blow drying your hair.
- Try to go for more than one 'run'
- Film more friendly faces
- Start to save up for that Canon G7X... swapping lenses when vlogging is not ideal!
- Find some more music, the struggle is very, very real with this one.

This week I had christmas with all my uni friends before we headed back to our hometowns for a few weeks. It was a night of great food (if I do say so myself!) festive fun and games and a lot of laughs. I thought I'd pop a few tips on here for how to put together a great student christmas without breaking the bank.

- Decide how much you'll each pay. We decided to all put in £5 to cover the cost of the food and a few extras. If you all decide a small amount to pay you'll have more than enough food for everyone. It's much easier to all put money in than trying to split who gets what. You can decide to just get food for a christmas dinner or you can add in sweet treats, crackers, decorations and nibbles too!

- Secret Santa! Keep the price limit low and go for silly presents. A £2 spending limit and a trip to poundland and your living room will be full of plastic bow and arrows and plastic tiaras!

- Create your christmas playlists and don your christmas jumpers! Things can feel pretty 'un-festive' at uni, you don't really want to splash out on decorations when you're going home in a few days, so make the most of what you've got!

- Whoever cooks, doesn't clean! Make sure everyone does their bit, if you've cooked the whole meal, get the others doing the washing up.

Most of all. Have a lot of fun! My memories with my uni friends are my memories with my best friends, ones I will always remember!

Are you putting on a christmas with your friends this year? Let me know your plans!

It's that time of the year when you've got your results, you've had your big night out to celebrate and now some of you will be heading off to university this September!  I'm going into my third year at uni. It's going so quickly but I'm having the most amazing time with the most wonderful people, so although it seems daunting, please don't worry about a thing!

This is obviously my way of raising a glass to you. Well done! A-levels are officially over. It's Uni Time!

Before I went to university, there was a substantial lack of videos about it on YouTube. So I thought I'd make some advice videos myself!

 Last year I covered:

So if you're off in September, I wish you the best of luck and hope you have a fantastic time! If I have helped at least one of you with my tips, that'd be amazing.

Please share these videos with your friends if you find them helpful!
